Must buy!
This product is a lot bigger then I thought! The ship is huge! My 4 year old son has been obsessed with army men and the YouTuber (Evan storm). I got this in hopes he can build his army collection.Pros:-It shipped faster then stated it would by over a week! (And no I don’t have Amazon prime!)-The ship is massive and exciting for any little boy aha-The air planes are a thick metal material which most army items are plastic which is different and in my opinion more durable! :)-The ship has small wheels underneath kids don’t even notice cuz the placement is small and almost fully interior of the ship but allows the ship to move for a easier sail/movement 😉-It comes not only with a ship and plane but I didn’t realize two army trucks and army men came with the set!I highly recommend anyone this set! Especially army loving kids it’s worth every penny and keeps the kids busy for a while!! Worth every penny spent!

awesome toy for our little boy!
Bought this for our 6-year-old who loves WW2 history & playing "battle". It's quite the toy! The army men it comes with are smaller than regular army men & we just threw them out (we already have plenty), but even if you count those out, it's still worth it! The trucks & planes seem to be reasonable quality, as is the ship itself. the little compartment is a little tricky to open, but all in all it's a great toy! We've only had it a week, so I can't comment yet on how durable it is, but it seems sturdy enough to last quite awhile. As for play value . . . it's wonderful! He can-and has-played with it for hours! A good toy to encourage imaginative play!!UPDATE: Keeping the 5 stars after over a year of ownership by a very active little boy! It has held up well to not-always-gentle play that you would expect from a child AND his younger siblings. A few of the "tower" things come off easily & get lost from time to time. You might considering gluing them on if you really want them to stay there. Bottom line . . .has held up well & we are still very happy with our purchase!

"Best birthday present ever"
We got this for our son's 6th birthday. He had been asking for a battleship for months. After he opened it he said it was "the best birthday present ever" and it has not left his site since. It is big, he loves the fact that it has a built-in drawer for storing the airplanes and such it comes with. I like it because its *only* a toy - no lights, no sounds, no batteries. It has small wheels on the bottom so it can roll. No paint or decals so he can take it in the tub or the wading pool - of course it does not float, but its all plastic so its unharmed (I did tell him not to put the planes in the tub and he didn't listen, of course, and some of their paint came off).I can't say anything yet about its durability - it is all plastic, after all, but it didn't strike me as flimsy for what is is. Overall I highly recommend it if your child is interested in navy ships.

Great ship!
This is the best battleship I have found and the quality is great although I did not pay this price. A previous review said the ship was not 30 inches in length, which is correct. It measures at 27 inches and the box at 29.5 inches. It is still a huge ship and is as pictured. The tank and planes are die cast and some of the best I've seen. The army men are about an inch in size which is a good ratio size for the boat and artillary vehicles. I love this set and my boys ages 5 and 10 have so much fun with pretend play. I purchased this along with the toysmith mini army men set due their small size. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend it to others.

Damaged Box but Still Great
Product itself was like new but the box was pretty damaged on one side by the opening. For costing over $50 I'd kind of wish the box was like new. But overall, I think our son will be happy with this gift.

Smaller than advertised!
We just received the ship today and I was quite disappointed to find that it was NOT as big as it was advertised! The actual ship's size is 26.5"L X 5"W x 8"H, NOT 31" X 9" x 9". I don't know where they got the dimensions because even the box isn't that size. The box is only 29.25"L X 7"W X 8'H. I would NOT have paid so much for this size ship. I could've gotten other ships this size for $20 cheaper. I'm dissappointed.

My 5-year old said "Cooooool!"
This is a GREAT toy! I was pleasantly surprised with how well built it is. I love that the little aircrafts and vehicles are diecast metal! The picture is a little different than what we got though because ours came with 6 green tiny soldiers. I actually prefer them since the little green soldiers are a classic toy. The drawer that pulls out on the side to store aircrafts is neat too. My 5-year old doesn't exclaim that much when he's excited, but when he saw this battleship in the box, he was so excited and exclaimed "Cooooool!" He couldn't wait to play with it and is having a lot of fun with it. I highly recommend it for 5+.
