Pros: It's a griddle plate. Sturdy. Plain carbon steel.Handle-holes(*): good for pushing grease into, reversibleCons: plain carbon steel will rust.Hard to pick up to add more coals underneath while using.Food can talk through handle-holes.Before use: I cleaned with dawn platinum on both sides. Wiped dry. Does not fit in (my normal sized) oven. Rubbed it with lemons, cut in half, on both sides. Cleaned with dish soap again. Wiped dry.Oiled it with cooking oil and a paper towel.Fried 2 eggs and smarted them all over in the process. Scraped clean and re-oiledHow I have used it:Keep handle-holes at North and South. Put aluminum foil in North handle-hole. Coals under South part of griddle only (creating a small let temp section -melt cheese on burgers, etc). Close vents under grill. Allow 360 edge of griddle to be air vent.Only consumed 75% of charcoal I thought it would have.Doing same things today for the 4th.Anything changes I'll be back to complain.

A really nice piece. Just thick and heavy enough to do its intended job, Works very well. I do recommend small foil loaf pans for grease traps under the handle holes if you're cooking fatty meats.

I love the griddle it’s does double duty. I use it as a traditional griddle but also as a ceiling when I use my pizza kettle on the Webber to keep the heat closer to the pie. Only downside is you can’t add any more coals once it’s on.

Great accessory. Very solid and durable. So far I’ve used mine for smash burgers and chicken fajitas.

Perfect for turkey burgers or beef.Never want to cook without it.Was cheaper price when I purchased it the first time as a gift.
