Works like a charm for me in my real estate photography business
Use this little guy all the time now with my speedlights while shooting real estate photography. The stud stick to the speedlight and the clip goes on my belt. When I get to a room (let's say a master bedroom) and I need to add some flash to the adjacent master bath that is connected and can be seen further back in the shot, I just unclip the speedlight from my belt, stash it in the room, come back to my camera, take a test shot. Adjust the power of the flash in the bathroom. Take another test shot. Usually this second shot is good, but if not, repeat as necessary until that bathroom is properly lit.Now I power up my main flash (Godox ad200), point it at the ceiling of the master bedroom itself right over the camera and fire off a properly lit shot from front of scene straight through to the back in the adjoining room.Go retrieve the speedlight from the master bath, clip it back on to my belt...and I'm off to the next room. It's really very convenient.

Simple concept, great solution
Love this little inexpensive holster and clip set up. Great for keeping accessories handy. I just wish I could find the little adhesive clips sold separately if they are available. So far, no luck.03/22/2021 UPDATE: I've since purchased several more sets. This accessory belt clip system has been far more useful than I had imagined and I have since found other applications for it. The adhesive on the tab pads have all held strong with no failures and pretty rough use.

A plus for every photographer
Despite it's steep price, it is WORTH it. The build and use is worth the cost. Have a speedlight (flash) running out of battery? BAM! Just switch it with the one conveniently sitting at your hip. For event photography this can make a HUGE difference.I photograph weddings professionally and not only has it survived, but it has been an immeasurable asset.

Holds 1 pound or less
I would not call it a "DSLR Camera Holster". The one I received states that it holds a maximum of 1 pound. A digital single-lens reflex camera weighs more than one lb. Also the pictures show a velcro strap but the product i received had two peel-n-stick attachments but no straps. That information aside, this is a useful product to hold certain accessories where they are easily accessible.

The spring is certainly strong enough to hold a heavyish strobe like a Nikon SB700 or SB800
I use this to attach my light meter to my Spider Camera Holster belt, but have also used this to attach things to my LowePro belt. The self-adhesive tabs attach _really_ strongly to any smooth, clean surface (clean with isopropyl alcohol first, allow to dry completely), and the velcro strap is an added safety feature.Once the holster part is clipped onto the belt, it will not come off unless you deliberately and firmly open the jaws. The spring is certainly strong enough to hold a heavyish strobe like a Nikon SB700 or SB800.The self adhesive tab has a round protrusion that slips easily into the slot on the front of the holster part, and allows the device to swing freely. A separate spring holds it down in the bottom of the slot, so the device won't fall out if you are running. There is a clearly audible click as the retention spring grabs the round nub. Releasing the spring to remove the device from the holster is easy and natural: there is a button at the top of the holster within easy reach of your thumb when you grab the holstered device. This frees up space in my small "extras" pouch, and keeps the light meter immediately available. This would also work for small hand-held radios.

Must have camera accessory
I shoot real estate and while I have lights on a stand I always have a speed light in hand.. the SpiderMonkey clip lets me keep that speed light clipped to my belt and ready at hand at anytime. It works great.

Adhesive Lasted Just Over a Month. DONT BUY
Everything worked fine, for a little over a month. Then, the adhesive of the tab just gave way. This caused my flash to fall 4ft to the floor. Luckily nothing broke. But still, the adhesive didnt even last 2 months. To me, that makes this not worth the price.UPDATE: Just attached the 2nd tab that you get. While out on a job, and my flash attached to my belt, i bumped into a couch, this was enough to detach the flash from the tab and it seems that once that initial connection is broken, these things will never stick again. If the tab adhesive is only good enough for one use, its basically worthless.DONT BUYUPDATE 2: I solved the adhesive problem by getting heavy duty double sided tape and creating my own adhesive. But, just now, the clip itself just fell apart out of nowhere. I didnt bump into anything. I was literally walking in a wide open parking lot and my flash smashed into the ground. How? The two pieces of the clip and decided it was time to no longer be one piece.

These clips are cool. But overpriced because I remember back in the day they used to sell things like this for your cell phone (before there was smart phones) also disappointing that they do not come with a Velcro strap which is shown in one of the product photos. If they had've includes the strap then I would've given a four star rating.
