Nice shed. Worth the money.
Worth every dollar!! My nephew put this shed together by himself in a day. It would have been even less time except he added a wood floor base. He said it went together quite easily. I have it on my porch for easy access since I'm 74 yrs old. It keeps out the rain and critters from things I need to store. Good item!!

8x10 Assembly
Just finished assembling 8x10 unit. Unlike other units this unit is actually slightly bigger than 8 x10. We made a base 9 x 11 which worked out well. You definitely need a base. The base pictured used 2x6 PT for outer frame and 2x4 PT on 2 ft centers for cross member supports. Used 4x8x 7/16 OSB for the floor. Did a water seal on the OSB before assembling the shed since it isn’t PT. You definitely need a base if you aren’t assembling on concrete in order for all the holes to line up. Make sure the bottom frame of the shed is squared by measuring from diagonal corners to make sure equal distance. Secure the bottom shed frame to the base to keep it squared during assembly. The instructions were good and generally went together without significant issues. You’ll need to be careful attaching the top frame. The top frame on each side has a groove instead of individual holes so you’ll need to careful with the corners in order for roof panels to line up correctly. You may need to make adjustments in process. We managed to assemble the entire shed with only drilling two holes when attaching the final trim piece as the holes were off father than could be adjusted. Half the panels have a protective coating. After removing the film from one panel we chose to leave the rest covered as it took about 20 minutes to peel the film off the first panel. We’ll deal with the film a little at a time in the future. You can use an electric screw driver but it needs to have a torque adjustment. Some of the screws can strip if you aren’t careful but there about 450-500 screws which is more than we wanted to do by hand. We chose to apply dab of acrylic seal on each to the exposed roof panel screws as the included plastic washers didn’t cover some of the holes entirely due to alignment. It rained the day after we finished and the inside remained dry without leaks so the deal was a good choice. You definitely need two people for assembly of some of work. I recommend having a folding table to layout all the hardware to keep from having to continuously bend over to grab screws. Also recommend removing everything from the two boxes and laying them out to keep from having to continuously dig through the boxes to find the piece or pieces you are looking for. Actual assembly time with two people was about 13 hours over three days. Leveling the ground and assembling the base was about 4 hours. We had all the base lumber cut to size at Home Depot so we could start assembling as soon as we got home. You may question the the rigidity of the unit as you are assembling but once everything is completed the unit is pretty solid, more than I anticipated. Overall we are satisfied and felt the unit went together pretty easily.

Great shed for the money but not perfect.
I was really debating whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, but here's my experience with it. First of all, it's not actually 5 feet by 3 feet. The description does mention this but I was still surprised to find how small it was once I started building it. It's actually about ½a foot smaller in each direction. I found it fairly easy and straightforward to assemble but as an auto mechanic I'm pretty good at figuring things out by looking at them. I agree with some of the other reviews that the assembly instructions are vague and somewhat unclear. It wasn't too hard for me to figure out what goes where but I could see how it could be difficult for those who aren't as inclined to building things without clear instructions. Overall I am happy with it even though it only fits one of the 2 shelf units I had intended to put in it. Be sure to assemble it on a VERY flat surface! My yard is mostly a steep hill. I dug an area out of the hillside for it and put down wood as a base but I had a hard time lining up the roof panels because the ground wasn't as flat as it needed. I ended up drilling new mounting holes to install the rear section of the roof panels to make up for the uneven ground. The biggest problem I noticed after it was assembled was when the first rain came and it leaked water inside from the rear section of the roof panels down the back wall, but I don't know that this is a defect in the design of the shed as much as the trouble I had lining up roof panels due to the uneven topography and the fact that I built it with the back of the shed against a cut-out hillside which greatly hindered access to the back of the shed during assembly. I also found that the door latch didn't line up perfectly when closing the door but, again, I think this had more to do with the uneven surface rather than the shed itself. In a nutshell, I would say that this is a good solid shed at a great price. If you have a very flat yard it should go together well but if you need to grade things I would suggest making sure it is very level before assembling it and I would also recommend a very solid flat foundation for it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER
Scheduled it for return. This product is a mess. Paper instructions don’t match the video which is shows how it’s actually supposed to be assembled. Got to the roof part and the holes would not line up unless you bent the piece. Some pieces are lined in plastic that you have to tediously rip off which takes 30-40 min if you’re solo alone yet others do not. This was the worst item I’ve ordered and had to assemble. Just 0 lack of care on their part. Edit 2/16/25: I returned the product and have asked Amazon for my refund 2 times now. The package cost $223 out of my own pocket to send it back and the seller owes me $365 for the shed and the price to ship back. I should NOT have to ask 3-4 times for my money back. 2/20/25 update The seller has now finally processed refund for the shed. They got it back on Feb 6th so 14 days it took to finally be given the refund for the shed. However, the seller is now trying to say they won’t pay the $223 that I had to ship it back. It cost more to send the shed back than the actual shed. I just need my money back. On top of that Amazon even says if it cost more than $30 to send it back to contact the seller. What I don’t appreciate was that I was given a lame small label to send a huge package back via USPS. I got to USPS and they said to try UPS. So the seller/Amazon give you a tiny label for a small to medium box when the package is huge so you are FORCED to send it back via UPS or Fedex. Costing me $223. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from this vendor. Amazon when contacting their support even had the audacity to say to buy items sold and shipped from Amazon…. It was not my fault the item was terrible and I had to pay out of pocket to send it back. I’m hoping I’m refunded to my Visa and not Amazon bucks.

Decent size, but durability is lacking
It is definitely spacious and holds a lot of gear for a 5x3 FT shed, which is exactly what I needed. However, the metal material feels pretty thin and cheap, and after just a short time, parts of it are already starting to come apart. It gets the job done for basic storage, but don't expect heavy-duty durability.

Holds up great!
Using it as a duck shed and had it up for a while with no issues! The assembly was a little tedious and definitely recommended at least 2-3 people. Took about two days with me having three people.

I'm torn on the ratings
I'm torn on the ratings. It took a long time to get here was even rescheduled most likely because of the weight. It is very heavy. It is smaller than the size advertised which messed up my plans as well. Mine was missing parts including the hinges. Mine was also dented but the box was not. Miss-placed holes for the bolts and no extras so if you get a few which we did that are factory rejects you are screwed... no pun intended. I read instructions over and over, I watched videos, I read reviews, none where correct for the parts I had, this took two months to put together. First I contacted seller for missing parts, hinges and dents in panels and the many drill bits that broke while we had to drill our own holes, they only offered the hinges and $20 off. So a few weeks later they sent one hinge. Ok so the door needs two hinges. so than again a few weeks later I got the other hinge and two months had past from when I ordered it. They never gave us the $20 off that I can find anywhere. After using tons of tools and breaking some, Thank goodness we had them because most homes don't own metal working tool.... why you buy a pre-drilled and cut KIT in the first place, tons of cussing, replacement parts it is finally up. Also this one does NOT have vents. If they had delivered what was advertised I would have given it a 5 star review. After all our work and skill I have a decent shed that we anchor with heavy duty stakes or ground anchors. For what I needed and for the price I would buy again from a different manufacturer and make sure they weren't lying about the size. If you have the skill and tools and extra cash to actually build one of these from scratch but don't want the pain of doing all of it yourself, than for the price I would say this is a decent little shed you will be doing the work that should have been done at the factory and running around town trying to find parts to replace the missing ones.

Funcional
