Audi TT Petrol 99-06

These TTs are expensive to get work done to them. Do it yourself and save a ton of money. If you don't have tools, buy tools you will still save money while collecting tools that will help with other jobs. For newbies this is a great way to learn independence from mechanics.

Aside from the (expensive) Bentley manual, this is the only one out there I could find for MK I Audi TT. It is helpful in some aspects (such as the 'troubleshooting' section) but could do with more attention to DIY mechanical/maintenance verses the more difficult (and unlikely) non-DIY repairs (i.e. transmission rebuild). If a person has that much skill mechanically, they will probably not be turning to a manual such as this. This manual is 'ok' for someone (like me) who is capable at doing some easy to moderate repair work, but will need to be supplemented with other sources available on the internet with help from Mr. Google.

Great for reference. But you have to be able to flip everything in your head because it is for right side drive car.

Very basic, not much for detail and it's for Europe's cars, lacks a good troubleshooting guide and illustrations.

Outdated. It's not as robust as it can be (doesn't cover the one thing I bought it for - Haldex Controller).Better info available online. B/W photos are a bit 1995.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es auch die Reparaturleitfaden von Audi direkt, um ein schmaleres Geld, gibt und das Buch die ausländischen Motoren behandelt.Im Buch fällt der 3.2 V6 leider komplett raus und einige Kapitel sind nicht bis zum Schluss durchgezogen worden, wie der Tausch der Benzinpumpe, welcher fehlt.Auch das Motorkapitel ist etwas eigenartig, denn es wird die Ventilreinigung und das Vermessen der Kolben beschrieben, was ja so jeder nebenbei erledigt, aber nicht, wie man eine Ventildeckeldichtung tauscht, was durchaus viele könnten und bei TTs auch erforderlich ist, wenn sie schwitzen.Auch beim Thema Hauptsicherung auf der Batterie weiß das Buch keine Auskunft zu geben.Die Bebilderung im Buch ist von schlechter Qualität und mittlerweile findet man vieles im Internet an hilfreichen Seiten und Youtube-Videos, so dass das Buch obsolet ist.Mittlerweile gibt es den deutschen Klon von R. Etzold, der sich genau dieses Buches bedient hat, jedoch um 10,- EUR teurer und mit den gleichen Mängeln (plus Übersetzungsmängeln und fehlendem Stichwortverzeichnis).

Buen libro de mecánica sobre el Audi TT 8N. Tiene muchas fotos (en blanco y negro), explicaciones detalladas y muchas especificaciones técnicas del mismo, que siempre son muy útiles. Lo malo, es la calidad de las tapas y las hojas.

Car (used) did not come with manual so this is very helpful.

Perfecto , lastima que es en ingles pero para hacer el despiece sin romper nada es genial
