A reviewer's video shows less vibrant color & minimal color variation, so do these have LEDs that are the same colors as the lens color?

I only used one so not completely sure but it seems the lens is what makes the color. I think the bulb/led is white.

The switch led illuminators are independent of the switch. They can be illuminated when there is power applied to the device, or when the switch requests a relay switch ( in this case it's a momentary switch, so it will have to set a relay which turns on/off the light). It all depends on how you configure them.
