LATTAFA Opulent Red Eau de Parfum 100 ml

We absolutely love this fragrance! It lasts all day and smells a lot like a popular expensive brand. I bought this for my teenage daughter and she loves it. Great value for money, and makes you wonder why the big brands insist on charging so much.

This is an honest review from a total novice who reads loads of reviews on Amazon and fragrantica then blind buys, to try and find a unique scent worthy as a signature scent. I have read all the positive and negative reviews for this. So, here goes! On first spray I got a huge blast in the face bomb, think Dior poison, Mugler Alien, a bit of hypnotic poison too and even a tiny bit of Lou Lou! I immediately knew I'd love this and went straight to the living room to let my man smell me lol....he choked and pretended to die! He hates strong scents ...I left the room for a few minutes and went back in the other room, I got a huge air cloud of what I can only describe as gasoline and Burnt tyres! I was horrified because at first I thought there was a fire outside and went to the window....then remembered I had read reviews saying gasoline etc. I totally do get this perfume, it's unique there is nothing quite like it and I know I'm going to love it just as soon as it's been tucked away in a drawer for a few weeks to macerate! Lol....at the price gals I'd say go for it, it's really nice. if you scents with a very long trail....oh and did I mention that I got all that with ONE spray!! Omg is so so powerful! I defo have to say I find it leaning more feminine although it changes so much I'm getting leather and oud and woody notes and vanilla...there is an imperial leather soap mixed in with the sweetness and floral, I think that's why people are saying more masculine, but this adds a lovely fresh touch and it so works!

After reading the negative reviews on this perfume, wasn’t sure whether to get it, but I thought what the heck it’s cheap, and I don’t get any of what the negatives say, proves to me in future you can’t judge by what folk are saying. Lovely packaging and bottle , I don’t know how Lattafa does it for the small price. The scent itself, to be honest for me I wish it was stronger, I love the scent but I’d like it lasting longer, it does give me somewhat Alien vibes but not as strong, I get no gasoline smell they talk off, it’s just a regular really nice perfume, I read it blasts your head off the fragrance? Not at all, I wish it did. I love it, I’d love it lasting longer, it is initially fairly strong, but for the price , you can just top up. I think certain scents suit certain people, so if you like alien type scent, you will like this.

Great scent but haven’t used it yet. Was a gift but never got to give it so now I just have it in my home , great value for money and it has large longevity for the quality. Women would love it

Highly recommend

To me this is a fresh, whole year round fragrance, sparkly and clean. There is a captivating smell to it, but there’s also a warm slant to it as well. It works really well. I would say it’s definitely a daytime and night time fragrance and it seems to lift my mood when I spray it. It has good longevity, a top up mid day and you’re good to go. The bottle is a great size and brilliant value for money. I hope this review helps you!

*Edit* After letting the perfume sit for a week, I absolutely love it! The pink pepper note has blended into the fragrance and is nearly undetectable. I do smell it a small bit in the dry down, but now it blends almost seamlessly with the leathery smell. This did not need to mature long to become a gorgeous fragrance. I’m very happy with my purchase and love this perfume. Initial Review: This perfume was love at first sniff for me, but things quickly took a bit of a turn as it dried down more, which is why I knocked off one star. When you first spray this perfume, you get the blood orange, tuberose (which here smells like extremely fragrant orange blossom and some jasmine), and a soft, feminine leather note. I typically don’t enjoy leather or suede scents, but in this formulation I thought it was lovely and unique. The floral notes are incredibly sweet, sticky sweet almost. I don’t agree with this being unisex, it smells very feminine in my opinion. Some people say Opulent Red reminds them of Mugler’s Alien. I can see why. The heavy sweet florals are reminiscent of Alien. It’s not a dupe by any means, but they have similarities. I think the best description came from a reviewer who said it smelled like what they imagined a Louboutin would smell like. However, after about an hour of wearing OR, and enjoying the scent on my skin, the scent changed and all I could smell was pink pepper. An overwhelming amount of it. After two hours of riding out the pepper scent to see if it would change, the scent made me feel like I would get a headache if I didn’t wash it off. I HATE heavy pink pepper. This perfume PROJECTS. And the sillage is insane. So I went from getting strong whiffs of an enjoyable scent, to nasty pepper. I washed it off my arm, and the scent was STILL there. I had to wash it with soap 3 times to get the perfume off of me. I’m letting it sit for a week or two to see if it’ll transform and either stay the beautiful scent I originally smelled, or transform into something better. I’m truly hoping letting it sit helps, as I love the smell before the pink pepper takes over. They really had a gem here, but overdid it by throwing too much of that note in, like many fragrance houses are presently doing. All in all, this is NOT a safe blind buy, even if the scent doesn’t change for you. I also wouldn’t suggest this for anyone who doesn’t enjoy leaving a scent trail. People will smell this on you when you enter a room.

Huele bien. Es cierto que la salida es rara se pasa muy rápido, luego es un aroma frutal, en mi piel se siente algo cítrico, tampoco es mega pesado como dice mucha gente. La duración es buena pero normal, creo que se ha exagerado con este perfume. No es una copia de Alien , pero te lo recuerda en la vibra más que en el aroma. Tendría que probarlo en otoño invierno a ver cómo se comporta
