The Perfect Gift That Gets Everyone Digging
Okay, let’s talk about the Big Dig Toy Excavator Ride—my kids are OBSESSED with this thing! I got it for my 4-year-old’s birthday, and my 6-year-old couldn't resist jumping on too. It's perfect for their ages, and honestly, they’re both so into it, we had to get a second one so they can dig together. The size is great for kids, but here’s the surprise: my 65-year-old father hopped on and, let me tell you, he was all about it. It’s like seeing the inner child come out in a grown man—pure gold! 😂 As for the details—it's super sturdy with great build quality. The weight is just right, and it’s really easy to maneuver, so the kids can dig and scoop around without any help (which means fewer mom, help me moments). The speed is perfect for little ones, not too fast, but enough to make them feel like they’re really doing something. It holds up well even after lots of digging sessions. We’ve had it outdoors in the dirt, and it’s stood up to all kinds of rough play. Gift value? Absolutely! It’s a total win for kids who love playing outdoors and getting hands-on. It keeps them busy, and let's be real, we enjoy watching them get so into it. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a toy that offers hours of entertainment and a little nostalgia for the adults!

Sturdy, kids love it
This went together well. I thought the picture instructions were clear enough. As someone else mentioned, the bottom of the seat does not have pre-drilled holes for the screws. I was able to screw into the seat with a regular screwdriver and just a little extra force, I did not have to drill holes first. The kids love digging with it. My son that just turned 3 is on the short side for sitting on the seat but is still able to use it just fine, he's average height. I didn't put the stickers on as I don't think they'd last outside and it looks fine without them. I would buy this again

Durable AF
It's been years since I purchased this now, and it's still in one piece in the back yard, works just like when it was new, and still has all its paint even left to the open elements. Durable, awesome product

Kid loves it!
Kid loves it! I attached a tow rope to pull him out to the jobsite. He could spend hours on this! We got him some 12 inch traffic cones. He marks out his jobsite and gets to work. Just like his videos. Birthday gift for 3rd birthday. He soon learned how to run it. These are for lifting/moving loose garden soil, or in a sandbox. It won't dig into undisturbed ground. Solid, indestructible. It should serve generations of kids. Recommended!

Cool item
My son was able to use the excavator to dig the whole needed in the flower bed to add a new flower to the garden. Fun way for a boy to participate in planting flowers with mom. :) I just wish the seat was cushioned or at least a bit wider; however, I recommend as this item is durable, sturdy, assembled easily, rotates smoothly.

Small Pickup Bucket
Great little kids toy, my son used this until it literally fell apart. I can't say it was bad quality because it was left out rain or shine and got used a great deal. On the other hand the bucket is very very small and could have been a lot bigger. The way it was described and shown in pictures was very deceiving and that was a major let down with the design.

Very sturdy toy
We as a family loved this! It came in with all the pieces and was very easy to assemble, it looks small but can hold my husband and I, it looks identical to what is seen in the picture. Very light weight and easy to move from place to place. It was definitely worth every dollar spent! Perfect idea for a little boys/girls Christmas present.

Great durable toy!
We've had this for 5 yrs now. It's still outside in our sandbox & still being used & played with today. We love it. It's durable & has lasted in the elements with barely any rust.

Acheté pour mon garçon xe 2 ans et demi. Robuste, facile à utiliser, il joue tous les jours de beaux temps avec. 3 amis en ont commandé un après avoir vu le nôtre. Un MUST pour le carré de sable.

Decent little excavator but difficult to put together. Supplied washers are too small to fit over the posts that hold the wheels and the caps that lock the wheels on also don’t fit. Had to grind the washers out to make them larger, then file down the ends of the “axle” so the locking caps could fit. Decent product but wish the manufacturer had tried putting one together before selling them.

Easy to assemble and keeps the grandkids entertained. Going to buy another one

I bought 2, one for each nephew as they won't want to share this. The first one was a bit of a challenge to assemble but the second took half the time! These diggers lasted 6 months inside and then one summer outside in the elements. The bolts need to be tightened and greased every now and then or it will fall apart. We will be replacing the bolts and putting it all back together again. The boys love it but do get frustrated that it can't move sideways, only forward and back.

This is the third big digger that I have purchased. The first and second ones are still going strong. The important word is tough. They are used hard and wear very well 😬
