perfect solution for an annoying problem.
I installed this whirlpool tub many years ago and it never worked. My handyman/carpenter wanted to use the tub before he went home, (he has a long drive and is old) so he decided to fix it. After fiddling with a lot of things, I told him I wanted to order this. PERFECT!!! He said he was on a job and some plumber came out and said this part was $500, which is why he was working so hard to cobble something together. This would have saved a lot of time and expense for me if we had ordered this first. At any rate, it was exactly what was wrong. if your tub will not turn on, check this out. it is a vacuum switch.
