Just to verify what others are saying, works great in the Bell and Howell Monster Bug Zapper. In fact I don't remember the last bulbs being this bright before. A couple of hints -- The top Amazon hit tends to be a 4 pack of bulbs for about the same price. But if you notice, those bulbs are 3000 hour rated, whereas these bulbs are rated at 6000 hours. I'd go with these longer rated bulbs as probably being higher quality and better light for longer time. And they seem nice and bright! And the zaps are wonderful. Another big hint! - Just because the old bulbs aren't working anymore in the Monster zapper, the zapper plate is still fully charged! Even when it's unplugged. Before replacing he bulbs, run a screwdriver across it to dischage the grid (unplugged of course!). Also a good practice I've found, is when replacing the bulbs, go ahead and open up the grid on both sides and brush the zapper plate with a dust pan brush to get the remaining old bug debris off.

I have an earlier model Bell&Howell Bug Zapper & both light bulbs had burned out on it. I could not find an exact replacement for the same model on line and no recommended exact replacement light tubes. I made exact measurements on my old bilbs which 12" overall length & 11+1/3 " glass tube labeled F10T5 BL368 10W and I found a blue light fluorescent mini Bi-pin Base glass tube labeled F8T5BL8W 12" sold by GoandWin shipped by Amazon which matched my measurements for overall & glass tube length and mini-bipin tips, and although it was just an 8 watts tube, I decided to take a chance on it and ordered two of the two tube packs. They came promptly and perfectly packed, and fit my bug zapper perfectly and light up great and have my two bug zappers working perfectly! I would order from seller Goand Win again through Amazon happily for any future fluorescent light tube needs. LJC

This review is meant for people who consider buying this product just because it says Amazon’s choice. If you are lucky enough to read my review before the purchase, don’t buy it. Here is what happened to me. Upon arrival of the item, I installed them (which I did many times before), it lights up for seconds and then goes off. There are other reviews about its lifetime but it was couple of seconds for me. I don’t have the time to return it or the package so I called Amazon customer service and they just keep repeating that I have to return the item for the refund. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I’m angry at myself because I trusted this product since it was saying Amazon‘s choice.
