I had to get this as a replacement for the OEM one that came with the coffee maker, after someone accidentally threw it in the trash not realizing it was reusable. This newer version is actually better. The screen design is a better mesh and is easier to clean and the basket may be slightly longer or better calibrated for brewing. Keeping the grind the same, coffee tastes great and brews quickly. I can order one more as a spare.

We have had this model from Cuisinart for a little over a month now and continue to be very pleased with the machine. It combines the usefulness of a single serve coffee maker with the reusable filter cup to avoid the waste of most single-serve machines. The large water reservoir means we get through each day before we need to refill it, the flexibility of the filter cup means we can adjust the strength of our coffee, and the size and water choices the machine provides allow you to create a cup just to your liking. My wife really likes the “hot water” feature to make tea easily. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far we are delighted with the item.

A must-have if you have a Cuisinart coffee maker and want it. Use your own coffee and not pods but I found it overpriced and not exactly well made or durable. You may get a year out of it if you're lucky

Works great allowing me to use my ground coffee.

I bought this to use with my Cuisinart Coffee Center Barista Bar 4-in-1 Coffee Maker (SS-4N1NAS) to take advantage of the K-Cup features without the excess waste and to be able to use any coffee flavor I want without committing to any particular brand. It works great.

Works well much less expensive using ground coffee then Kcup and better selection

This product works great.

It saves a lot of money, especially for a person like me "coffee drinker", add to that it gives you a control to add extra ground coffee if you like a strong cup of coffee. Yes its highly recommended.

Fits and works great. I wrecked it my original, but now I can have my Esspresso again. If you haven't put Esspresso ground coffee through one of these, try IT IS GREAT!

I thought this one was too expensive for what it is, so I bought cheaper ones that still fit. They were disappointing. At the end of the day I cracked, and paid more for this one, and I'm glad I did.
