Fantastic filament, was good while it lasted and I pray every day it comes back
This filament is excellent. I bought it on sale for something around 40% off and it was well worth it. It took me several weeks to dial it in, the TDS on their website is not very helpful and I have not seen more than two mentions of this filament on reddit, neither of which went into any detail regarding actually printing it.I print this at 260 for the first layer, 270 for the rest. 100C for the bed and have settled around 65-70C for the chamber. I had severe issues with heat creep initially, PolyMaker states it is unable to be printed without an enclosure that reaches a minimum of 100C! Not many consumers have that kind of set up and I had to heavily modify my P1S to be able to do this. If you attempt at chamber temps above 80C, you will run into immediate heat creep. It prints fantastic at 65, I would probably not even worry about doing it at 55 or 50 if you really can't get it any higher. Like all other engineering filaments, just turn off that aux fan, part fan super low, print speed very low, and steady temps. I have been able to print objects well above 8"x8" with these settings on my P1S. Stock P1S will likely not be able to successfully print this stuff, I utilize forced air heating and a thermistor in the chamber to maintain temps +/- 1C. I was very frustrated with PM's claim that it required such ridiculous temperatures when PBT *should* print more like PLA in regards to temp. It prints well on many surfaces, I've printed with elmers glue stick on PEI as well as with bed weld on glass/borosilicate and epoxy plates. I would recommend using a flex plate if using bed weld or epoxy plates, it will bond strongly to the surface.This filament is rubbery, very much so, advised to have a clean extruder and new teeth on extruder gears. I always print from an actively heated dry box, no greater than 18% RH for best results. It can handle overhangs, and many of the challenges that ABS really struggles with, although I would likely not use this in many of the cases in which I would utilize ABS/ASA. I suspect part of this blend is PETG to increase printability, as seems to be the case with a lot of filaments nowadays, but this doesn't seem to significantly impact performance. It is *tough*, much more so than I thought it would be. It doesn't shatter when it breaks and I have had no cascading failures, it seems about as tough as ABS while having some of the desirable qualities of PC. I would prefer if this were pure PBT to be completely honest, but a little PC in there for strength does this filament well.I don't know if PM will ever restock this filament? I have been waiting almost a month for it to come back in natural color (I love that color) but the price just keeps going up and they only have it in the larger diameter... Glad I got it while I could I guess, trying to use it sparingly since it is so well suited for many niche cases. Excited to try it out in the winter for that cold resistance, I'm expecting it to crack at some point in the season, and especially if used for any kind of load bearing. I will be purchasing several spools of this as soon as it comes back in stock, I can promise you that, I have loved everything I've printed with it, and in my opinion PBT should have a much larger presence in the FDM scene, it is a serious plastic! Compare the TDS of PBT to your ABSs and Nylons and you will be very surprised that this seems almost like a super-plastic. Once it comes back, I would highly recommend experienced printers to purchase a few rolls of it. *do not try to print this with a cardboard box over your bed slinger, please*.The picture is a mouse body of PC-PBT and ABS keycaps.

Amazing Filament with Great Temperature Resistance
This is some of my favorite filament. It is easy to print, looks great when done, and is resistant to temperature, moisture, and the elements. Very tough and strong. I have yet to have a clog, jam, or stringing and thi si smy go-to when I need the best!

Great for composite molds!
I use this a bunch to create 3D printed composite molds because they can survive both the vacuum and elevated temperatures of curing. Nice and rigid with little flexibility as to be expected for PC. Not entirely sure how it would hang up over time as my typical use case has it only function for a few molds. But with that being said it had the higher resistance to heat required for my composite mold making. While I found that I could technically get away with abs if there are any fluctuations in the temperature that raise the temperature a bit too high I would pass the glass transition temperature of the ABS. And for the cost of epoxy resin and carbon fiber one failed cure cost me far more than what simply printing it in polycarbonate would be. The only thing I wish is that they sold this as an empty spool so I could swap it onto a plastic spool that's a bit easier to run with my printers. Since then I have printed a few parts that I have painted and put outside on my gym equipment to hold my phone and do other things. We'll see how it survives the moisture and being under load consistently for long periods of time.

I LOVE this filament!
Polymaker has been one of my favorite filament brands for as long as I can remember and this PolyMaxPC is phenomenal for strength! I absolutely love how cleanly it prints and is not only one of the easiest filaments I print with, but also one of the most durable! - I will DEFINITELY say, it likes it HOT! - I get fantastic results with an enclosure, 110 bed temp (it’s worth the extra heat to keep adhesion up and warping down!) - I use 260 nozzle temp with low retraction and cooling to prevent any stringing! - The prints look amazing to me and I couldn’t be happier with the results of the work this filament puts in strength wise! - Hands down would buy this again and again! 10/10

Prints nicely
You NEED an enclosed printer and must dry before use. It prints nicely in a H2D but fine tuning to get that glass like appearance is hard. Also sticks to beds to the point it will damage taking prints off. Also absorbs water hence needing to dry before use. Super resistant to heat and not flexible at all.

Strong and easy to use
This was my first attempt at printing PC using my Adventurer 5M (with an enclosure) and 0.6mm nozzle. My first print, without any calibration and just a few tweaks from Orcaslicer's built-in Generic PC, produced a fantastic usable part that seems quite strong.My enclosure runs at about 50-55C. I have filtering in the enclosure and a weak fan ventilating to outside (for negative pressure). Pretty much every setting is at max temperature.

Filament keeps coming apart, breaking off in the loading tube
I have Flashforge Adventure 5M, this filament keeps coming apart, breaking off in the loading tube before it gets to the nozzle! I've run it through 20 times, that works fine, temp is fine but when I go to print a project it will start first layer it starts & within 1 minute the filament has broken again within the feeding tube to the nozzle! Never had this issue with any other filament.

Well worth the cost.
I've used this in a heated chamber printer and the results are excellent.I used magigoo pc on the bed and had zero lifting/warping from my prints.Produces very strong yet semi flexible prints.Well worth the expense if you need a decent PC part.
