Great product both as a coal starter, and also as a mini grill. Very easy to set up and move from place to place, and it folds down in to almost nothing (about the size of a piece of paper). Really useful for camping and can fit food for ~2 people (or more if you don't mind eating in turns. After I used it the first time, the bottom grill got a bit bent out of place/warped. But I contacted the seller on Amazon and they quickly sent a replacement part. Really great and responsive customer service. Highly recommend this product for starting coals or for in-the-woods bbqs!

This is an amazing piece of gear considering the price. It works well as a chimney. The grill can handle four hamburgers, more if you choose hotdogs. It's very compact when flat.

The first time we used it the results were better than expected. We have 2 circular charcoal starters that I use for starting the smoker and they work fine. Bought this one to use as a small grill when camping as it folds flat and also has a larger, square top for using the grate or a grilling basket. The charcoal started quickly and with just 3 layers it provided more heat than we needed to sear and cook thick hamburger patties. Look forward to great pork chops, steak, etc.

Solid chimney starter. It lights charcoal quickly and the foldable design is a great idea for storage. My only issues are that it's a bit bulky even when folded and was a little bit of a pain to assemble the first time. Once it's together, it works great. Worth the money, but not perfect.

It's only hubby and me at the house, so this is what we use to grill a steak or couple of burgers. No use firing up anything bigger. I do wish I could move the lower grate up a tad, closer to the top one, but other than that, it's perfect.

It’s heavier than I like but it works great. Takes up less space that a traditional starter.

I used it truck camping as a chimney and a single burner grill . It performed well in both situations. I now pack it as my only stove for truck camping. It folds flat for easy storage but is too heavy and bulky for backpacking.

we grill a lot: a couple times a week. When our old cylindrical chimney rusted through, we replaced it with this model. The folding quality was attractive when we grill at a park or the beach. Unfortunately, after just a few months, the handle started to melt and the side panels stopped locking together. We went back to the standard cylindrical chimney. I actually did buy a second one of these just for its portability, but we'll save that just for special occasions when we're traveling.
