Product quality, and its packaging is wonderful. Potency is very strong, I highly recommend buying sodium hypochlorite from this seller. Seller "Cleansol" is very responsive, if you ask them any question they will promptly call you to address all concerns. Please follow the following instructions for proper storage and usage of the product: 1) STORAGE: Keep the sodium hypochlorite container in a cool and dark place, because light and heat can decompose sodium hypochlorite, reducing its potency. 2) If the sodium hypochlorite container is kept in a cool and dark place, the sodium hypochlorite will be in a stable state, so it will NOT decompose and give out its chlorine gas, which means you will not get a strong pungent smell when you open the container - THIS IS A GOOD THING, MAINTAINS HIGH POTENCY OF THE CHEMICAL. 3) USAGE: Concentration of the sodium hypochlorite in the container is 5%. So if you want to make a 1% concentration solution for your personal use - then mix 1 part of the sodium hypochlorite with 4 parts of water - For example, if you want to make 1 litre of 1% solution, then take 200 ml of sodium hypochlorite from the container and mix it with 800 ml of water. So the mixture ratio is - 1:4 If you want to make a 2% concentration solution for your personal use - then mix 2 parts of the sodium hypochlorite with 3 parts of water - For example, if you want to make 1 litre of 2% solution, then take 400 ml of sodium hypochlorite from the container and mix it with 600 ml of water. So the mixture ratio is - 2:3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Initially, I was wondering about the actual concentration of the sodium hypochlorite, and the lack of a strong pungent smell - asked the seller about it, and as a most pleasant surprise, the seller contacted me on my mobile phone within 30 minutes and explained in-depth how when the chemical is in a stable state, it won't decompose and give out the chlorine gas which would have caused the strong pungent smell, and this is a good thing actually! - as a test one can take a little bit of the sodium hypochlorite in their hands and the heat of the hand and ambient light will decompose the chemical and then one can get the strong pungent smell. Also, just now, a little bit of the chemical fell on my blue coloured pyjama and immediately its color got stripped and it turned white in the places that drops of the chemical had fallen on - so its bleaching action is very powerful, which means the potency is very good. The seller told me the concentration is 5%
