I have four ds18 zt pros that are 4ohm. this amp is getting hot to the touch and im getting a low static out of my speakers. is the amp bad?

You need more rms power. You always need more rms amp power then speaker power at least 25 percent more My opinion.

PACK A PUNCH :)

Hooked it up yesterday, so far so good. Channels 1/2 run off 2RCA cables and Channels 3/4 need another 2 RCA cables. I personally needed to get 2 RCA splitters but everything is working great. Running 2 Skar 12inch bridged to each 2 channels on the amp. Am getting some voltage drop with this much constant wattage but the amp is providing GREAT power!!!

This amp is very powerfull. I have it powering 4 sundown sa 6x9s and it has plenty of power, it could easily power 8 of them.
