It works
It does create a loft in your shed. It hangs on one end over the middle cross beam. The other end uses brackets you screw into your back shed wall. Everything went together, except for the clamps that hold the back of the loft grating against the brackets in the back of the shed. The screw holes the screws were supposed to go into just didn't fit the brackets. I don't know if they drilled the holes too small, but the small holes were too small and the large holes were too big for the screws that came with the kit. I kind of felt like Goldilocks. But the loft shelving is bent down in the rear, so it just drapes over the rear brackets and all is well. I guess I could install some zip ties to secure it down and make it better. All in all it does what it says it will, create an additional 6.84 square feet of storage space.

sturdy, convenient use of otherwise waste space
please note that despite the manufacturer's limited list of compatible models, this shelf works with the 7x7 foot suncast sutton 7791 (7790 being nearest on official list). two supports to fasten to the back wall (which also add additional strength between rear wall and rear roof section) , two brackets to drop in place, loop the front wire arm over the center truss, secure three small lateral movement anchors on each bracket and you're done. It is exceedingly simple to put together. Just don't get ahead of yourself and forget to align the front end centrally or else you'll be wondering why the back edges don't line up right. A simple overhead slap took care of that however. A much better value at $30 on amazon than $60 or so at homedepot. Not meant to store your bowling ball collection but will do nicely to get clutter off the ground. Once assembled it sits around six feet or so off the ground with a couple feet of width and spans from back wall to center spar or about 3.5ft given shed's dimensions. A no brainer accessory from amazon to spiffy up your shed.

Made it work with a lifetime shed
I bought this for a lifetime sheds, the rafter doesn't line up the way this one is designed, I repositioned the hanging bracket from tge end towards the middle and worked great. I would you put heavy stuff on it but it's great for small light stuff up overhead

Overall a very good loft ceiling shelf ...
I rate this shelf as a 4.5 ... this is my second ceiling shelf for a newer second shed. Unfortunately the hardware/screws for this second shelf have the wrong thread to secure the shelf as compared to the hardware from my first loft ceiling shelf. So I had to improvise and use zip ties to secure the shelf. Still happy it will do what its meant to do!

nice shelf but no access
This shelf install easily and seems fairly stout but there are two major drawbacks.First is the way the shelf is secured to the wall. the brackets are fine, they screw into existing pre-molded holes like everything else in these sheds and support traditional looking shelving brackets that are roughly 1 foot length. The shelf can move in and out when hung from the cross beam and rested on the rear supports, so it is important to secure the shelf to the rear supports lest the whole thing fall down. to accomplish this, the kit includes a number of P-clamps and the same type of self-tapping screws that are used to secure the brackets to the wall but these do a miserable job of self tapping to the shelf brackets. you will either need your own self tapping sheet metal screws or to zip-tie the shelf to the brackets.Second is more annoying - there's maybe a foot of clearance between the roof and the shelf once installed. I appreciate the load limits but a lunch cooler is hard to fit in this gap, and that's pretty ridiculous. I wound up unhooking the cross beam hanger and allowing the shelf to droop so I could get the room needed to fit some empty coolers, then re-hooking. it's not an easy job for shorter people and has the potential to make a mess of things but Its the only way I found to load it with the things I intended it to be used for. overall this is not very well thought out.

Great storage with a little addition
The loft was very easy to install. I have to agree that the screws that hold the p clamps to the brackets are to big or the holes are too small but if you use a power screwdriver and some pressure they will go in.I did find that the wire is spaced far enough apart that smaller items like rectangular plastic bottles will tip over. However, I had a half sheet of 3/4" plywood laying around so I cut it down to put on top of the shelf. I cut it to 22" long but left it the full 48" wide. I slid it onto the shelf between the front bracket and all the way to the back. Since the wire shelf is approx. 42" long I came up with an additional 6" x 22" of storage space.

Almost perfect
This is designed for the extra deep sheds, but we made it work in ours anyways. Where it attaches in the front of our barn, well it doesn't,(it's meant to attach to the cross member in the double deep Suncast storage barn, so we did a make shift attachment and keep light objects up there. Very very good use of the space up there in the ceiling. I am attaching a pic of the exterior of our barn so you can see what I mean by not deep(4' I believe versus the 8' that it's designed for). If there's a will there's a way! Love it. Thank you!

This fits 7by7 plastic sheds
Quick shipping, pretty easy to install with 2 people. I used this in my 7by7 SUNCAST shed, it’ll fit the CRAFTSMAN shed same size, but would sit in the top notch an sit a inch higher. Good way to make a little room in a small shed

Easy to follow instructions/easy to install
Easy to install; however the screws that attach the clamps to the brackets do not fit.

But it is good enough for lighter things and gives extra storage
Did the trick and gave us extra storage room in the Suncast shed. It is a "lighter" wire and as stated won't hold really heavy items. But it is good enough for lighter things and gives extra storage. Very satisfied.
