Has anyone used the clear gloss.. what were your results?

It did not do much - and it lightened my dark brown hair

Does this lighten my hair?

No - the glossify product is a temporary color. It doesn't actually lift any color or lighten hair, but will cover grey a bit. For me the color lasts about 3 weeks.

Do you carry a permanent color similar to natural beige?

We do not have an exact comparison, however you may wish to try the Keratin Color in either 7.0 Dark Blonde or 8.0 Medium Blonde. Will this darken my brassy, orange light brown hair? If so, how how much darker?

I personally wouldn't use this on any hair color that's lighter than a medium to dark brown. It does darken hair quite a bit if you apply it to dry hair. My hair is in between medium and dark brown and turns it quite dark (which is my preference). The effect is supposed to be a bit less if applied to wet hair, but I've not tried that method, so I can't speak to that. I would think it would still darken the hair a decent amount. Either way, the ash color does a good job neutralizing brassy tones. Though, if your hair is really orange, it may not work as well and, as I said, it will probably darken your hair regardless. To what degree will depend on the color you have now and what condition your hair is in. It's also only temporary and the results gradually wash out after a few weeks, but if used on lighter hair, the intensity of the color might fade quicker with washing. That's just a guess, I really have no idea. You might want to consult a cosmetologist.

I LOVE this gloss!! Unfortunately, it's discontinued.

I've used this product a couple of times & absolutely love it! Unfortunately, it has been discontinued. :( So... I went to Amazon to see if I could still find it in my color 'Mahogany Brown'. I was so happy to find it on here & ordered in October 2023. I didn't open it to use it until today... (Dec. 1st. 2023) Box was completely sealed... The bottle of color inside the box was not 'Mahogany Brown' it was 'Clear' which is obviously not what I ordered or expected. So disappointed. I'm not sure how this happened , but I did call the company that made it, Schwarzkopf... There is nothing they can do as they no longer make this product.

Entirely too dark

Applied to faded balayge level 7 (level 6 natural, highlights level 7). Placed on dry hair for 15 mins. My hair is now black. Pretty pissed. Mahogany shade used.

Not as expected

At first I was delighted with the mahogany brown color and extremely glossy hair. However , after the first wash, the towel was stained from fading color! Then I noticed the glint of gray hair and realized it wasn’t going to cover as it indicated. I’m very disappointed and would return this if I could.

Received with clear color bottle.

This is the second time I have received this with the clear color bottle. Whats the point of ordering if doesn't include the color. Very disappointed. No response and replacement.

Dyed my hair black! With a tiny bit of red!

My hair is naturally warm medium brown and I bought this (mahogany brown) thinking it would be more of a gloss to enhance my natural hair color. I had virgin hair. I put it on my dry hair but didn't leave it the full recommended 20 min, I only did about 10. Well, it dyed my hair jet black, and only when I get under a light or in the sun does it have a slight red tint. It looks horrendous. DO NOT BUY MAHOGANY BROWN unless you want blackish red hair!!! *pics are after washing several times. UPDATE: washed my hair 6 more times and 2 times with baking soda and clarifying shampoo mixture I read online. Top is now lighter but ends are still black! 🤦‍♀️😩
