Incase Dots Hardshell Case with Makrolon for MacBook Pro 14 inch, Black

I really like this shell for the MacBook. Been using it for several months now for a laptop that I regularly lug to work, drop in a backpack full of other electronics with corners and edges, and take with me on trips. Granted, I've never truly stress tested this with a drop, but for resisting basic situational wear and tear, this gets 5 gold stars. It has kept my machine shiny and safe. The surface isn't as smooth and uniformly colored as on other shells. There's a definite pattern and subtle matte texture, but I like that it gives me some grip. A random bonus is that the clear layer adds a bit of depth that gives any stickers a slight 3D shadow effect, if you're the type that likes adorning the cover. My primary concern was that this would add thickness to a machine that's already a bit chunkier than the MacBook Air. Fortunately, it barely adds any weight, and overall, it's about as thin as you'll get for something that still gives you hardshell protection. Good quality fit. Once snapped on, the cover isn't going to accidentally pop off. However, if you do need to remove it, that's not too hard to do deliberately. Overall, a solid product for those of us who don't want loud graphics and logos.

Love using these for my Macbook. Had a clear version sold directly from the Apple store on my previous model. Will eventually break when dropped enough; but had no problem continuing to use cracked. Protected the laptop which is the key. Very good for the price.

This is the best laptop protector. I’ve been using it for years. Got it on my 3 laptops and for great price you get a really solid product. Definitely not bulky, easy to install and it fits great. I hope it never gets discontinued since this was originally sold in Apple stores but no longer. Lucky that I found it here.

I've purchased this cover twice now, and both units failed within 6 months despite careful handling. Neither cracked from impacts or drops—they simply deteriorated during normal use. I primarily keep my computer at my desk and transport it occasionally in a padded bag, so these covers aren't experiencing rough treatment. The material appears to be more fragile than expected for a protective case. For a product designed to protect electronics, it's disappointing that it can't withstand light everyday use without cracking. Not recommended if you value longevity. I'll be switching to a more reliable brand that can actually last through at least a full year of gentle use.

Perfect fit. No fingerprints.

I chose this case for my MacBook Pro primarily because it’s also sold at the Apple Store (though at a higher price, of course). The fit is absolutely perfect for my 14” MBP, and the plastic feels like good quality—lightweight yet sturdy. I also really like the subtle dotted design. As for durability, only time will tell since I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. My main concern is screen protection; the edges of the screen sit higher than the case itself, so I don’t think it offers much protection in that regard. That said, I’ve tested several other cases, and none seem to fully protect the screen anyway. This is definitely a better option than MOSISO brand sold in Amazon. MOSISO is a bit cheaper, but the quality was way worst. While I’m still searching for the perfect case, this one is a solid option for now.

I really really want to love these Incase Dots Hardshells! However, I do not recommend them! It is not value for money! Simply because: They will crack/shatter around the corners no matter what you do! I do not throw around my laptops or treat them poorly, but just general wear and tear and bringing them in-to and out-of your bag or suitcase - inevitably, the corners will crack. Then it will appear highly unprofessional. Anyways, the reason I buy them is because I like the 4 grip pads that they have on the bottom - it keeps the laptop and place and doesn't slide around, and the fit is perfect, no issues, fits like a glove. However, I wish the plastic wasnt so susceptible to constant cracking! (Note: This is the second Incase Dots Hardshell I bought - and both times, corners have cracked!).

Encaja perfectamente en mi Macbook Pro de 14" 2023, parece muy resistente y le da una estética impoluta.

Après avoir testé un modèle spigen urban très jolie mais trop rêche et trop épais. Celui là est juste parfait en design et épaisseur sans rogné sur la qualité. J'en comprends pourquoi il est vendu aussi chez Apple. Je recommande.
