We used to try and shred things with 2 forks, which ended up scratching our stainless steel bowls and taking forever. These are fantastic, hold up incredibly well and are extremely sturdy, fit both my husband and I’s hands, and shred any kind of meat very well. This was for my first time shredding a large amount of pork. Had a 7.2 pound pork shoulder. Shredded the whole thing in less than 10 minutes. Very easy and very effective. No regrets of this purchase. The one claw has a set of tabs so that they lock together for storage. Only used once so far, but they seem sturdy and well made that they should last.

These claws work great for tearing apart pulled pork, much easier than using forks. They dig into the meat and allow me to separate it into small chunks. They seem durable. I like the way they fasten together for storage, keeping the points mostly covered for safety in the drawer. They wash easily. They would also be useful for lifting roasted turkeys out of the roasting pan onto a platter for slicing. They're a special purpose item, maybe most people wouldn't use them very often, but they take up little space and aren't very expensive, so they're worth having.
