Ive had these in my wish list for a couple of years, and finally pulled the trigger on buying them. MAN I cannot believe I waited so long! These are ~amazing~, not a single complaint. The texture is phenomenal. Almost like a marshmallow but significantly better. The flavor is light. The sweetness is very light but wholly satisfying. The only negative is the price, but considering the quality, I completely understand the price, and wouldn't want it any cheaper for fear of the quality being lowered. These will be a consistent buy for me from now on. I may just subscribe to them! If you're considering them but are hesitant because of the price, let me just say, they are worth it even if its just to try them. They would be delicious alongside some tea (matcha, earl grey, etc.). Plus, no one you know will have these so you'll be unique and cool to boot ;) Give them a try!

This reminds me of the mochi candies I had when I visited Japan. They have an exquisite texture and taste that reminds me of that great trip. These snacks are light, easy to eat, and visually appealing. There's about 20 in the bag and they are individually wrapped, making them easy to bring in lunch or just to throw in a pocket or purse. These little pillows of goodness are some of my favorite candies! They taste just like the Sakura Latte blended crème mix made by Angel Specialty Products, which is sold here on Amazon. It’s a milder flavor than you can find in American candies, which makes it perfect for adults IMO. I’m not sure if mochi candies are technically a type of gummy candy, but they’re similar to strawberry cloud gummies in texture if you’ve ever had those. They’ve got a fresh and fluffy texture that’s a nice change from the extra chewy or rubbery texture of many American candies. My only complaint is that they don’t come in a taro or ube flavor yet!

Delicious Addicting But very expensive

These are delicious! Not too sweet, and have that delicate cherry blossom flavor. Soft, pillowy texture that makes Japanese mochi so good. It is pretty expensive though, so it’s only an occasional thing I treat myself too.

Wanted to try something different from a different country have to say this is not really something. I enjoyed my own personal experience but other people may like it so it’s worth a try.

Well worth it. I have wanted to try these for while and decided to finally splurge on a bag. I didn’t count how many pieces there were but it was a very large bag completely filled. I was only able to eat 2 pieces because they were really tiring to keep chewing. They are definitely chewier than any mochi I’ve ever had. I also found their sweetness level comparable to meringue candy so there’s no way to eat more than 2-3 pieces at a time unless you like very sweet candy. They didn't have much of a strong flavor, but there was a faint floral aftertaste. The outside powder covering has a sparkly glitter effect. I found them beautiful to eat. The only downside to these candies is the red 40 used to achieve the pretty pink color. That’s another reason I don't see myself reaching for these everyday….I avoid red 40 in my food most of the time. Price is reasonable for how much you get in a bag and how I wont be eating them everyday. These are probably healthier in the long term than actual candy since most people only eat 2-3 pieces with green tea.

Perfect texture. Lightly sweet. Delicate flavor. One of the best mochi candies I've ever had.
