Will this work for a BMW 328d or is it only for trucks/equipment?

T6 is marketed as "multi-vehicle", diesel and gas. I would use a high-grade diesel oil like this, or BMW OEM oil for that car, but I would double-check the forums to compare the experience. I use it in a 99 mx-5 miata that's boosted to 300hp and so far its been working great.

What are the drain or change intervals?

Change intervals are typically your vehicle OEM recommendation. This full synthetic can be good for up to 15,000 on average duty vehicles. I’ve typically done changes at 5,000 for high temperature (turbo, diesel) applications.
