Dermatica Ultralight Recovery Moisturiser 30ml

This little bottle saved my skin, very light and hydrating at the same time. I use the customised Dermatica prescription cream at night and this pairs perfectly with it. No more dry skin or breakouts.

I've talked through my thoughts in this short video - I forgot to say that I find just one and a half pumps is enough to hydrate my face in summer and two to two and a half in winter, because a little goes a long way and I also use a an eye cream and serum.A good formulation with skin strengthening / protecting ingredients, especially good for dehydrated skin (lacking water, rather than lacking oil). Travel safe packaging.

Unfortunately I can’t say much about it. To be honest for me it’s didn’t do much different. It’s nice and smooth on your skin but can’t see any different from the NIVEA I been use before

I love Dermatica. I have been subscribed to their personalised treatments for over 2 years but I have never tried their over the counter products. They literally save my skin as I have been struggling with acne for years.Recently I have been prescribed Tretinoin and this moisturiser is a Godsend product. My skin is still adjusting to the new treatment and feels quite dry at the moment so this cream is just perfect. It comes with a pump which makes it very easy to dispense the right amount of product. One to two pumps are enough to cover my face. The cream sinks into my skin very quickly. Leaving my skin soft, hydrated and very calm.The cream is very lightweight and doesn't leave your skin greasy at all. It is very very calming and soothing and it really has changed my nightly moisturising routine for good.

Having used many different products from varying manufacturers/brands - Estée Lauder, aveeno, curel etc I can honestly say this is a great moisturiser and a steep competitor!Pros:-premium appearance and product doesn’t disappoint-neutral smell - nil offensive but there is a slight clinical clean smell to this product-it’s £12.99 for 30mls but a little goes a long way-soaks in almost immediately no sticky or greasy residue-skin feels noticeably softer/well hydrated from the first use-works as a barrier as described - not so sore following washing up when using this product (I often get contact dermatitis and suffer with very sensitive skin)Cons:-zeroVerdict:100% recommend this product.

This product has a pump action dispensing bottle. I found 2 pumps was enough for my face. It applies easily and doesn’t feel greasy. It does have quite an odd scent – not exactly unpleasant, but not one I can describe easily. My skin felt moisturised and smooth, but I found the effect didn’t last and I soon wanted to apply more.It’s described as a ‘one for all moisturiser to top up your skin’s hydration levels’ - if this is meant to mean use a body lotion too, then it won’t last very long as it’s only 30ml. Serum products are often provided in 30ml bottles – this doesn’t feel like a serum & with a moisturising effect that didn’t last very long I’m not sure what the intention is. It makes a good travel size, but not for daily use.At over £12 for a small 30ml volume, I think it's not very cost-effective.

I have rosacea, which is something that Dermatica makes a range of products for, so this moisturiser is well suited to skin undergoing treatment for rosaces or other conditions. I have applied this after Soolantra (waiting the half an hour for the Soolantra to dry), and found it is pleasant to apply and soothing. It is quite light, but it does nourish the skin and prevent dryness.The bottle is tiny but the amount within is fairly normal, so that makes this a very portable item for travelling etc. Keep in mind you must always use an SPF when you are using skin actives or when you have rosacea, so this cream will not be sufficient on its own in the morning.
