Boy's Leather Double Prong Belt

When purchasing uaing the size chart I had my doubts if this would fit my tiny son. It is true to size and fits him perfectly and still has a lot of adjustments to grow with him. The material is leather and of a good quality. Endurance will come during consistent usage so I cannot comment on that. Overall the value for money is upheld by the manufacturer. It is not stiff belt but does give a little challenge with opening and closing due to the 2 prongs.

My son wears a size 8 so I ordered a small. It fits really well and after just one evening of wearing the leather is already feeling softer even without having put any leather conditioner on it. It doesn't have a lot of belt left over which is probably easier for him at the moment to not have to try to find another belt loop or something to slide the excess into to keep out of the way. It basically fits like it was made for him with three or four extra holes until he would have to size up. I'm trying to be exact here only because I might order a medium as well only for a few pants where the extra belt might make it easier for him to pull it through and tighten. However after seeing how much easier the belt was for him to use after it softened on its own....I might just give it a little time. When it first arrives it looks like it might be quality or it might be an awful stiff terrible belt. Before handing it to a kid, just manipulate it around for a few minutes and you'll feel it begin to settle into a soft strong leather belt that can last for a very long time. I think I might use a little leather conditioner to help protect it especially in the dry winter air and to help it soften up the rest of the way without making it weaker. ** on kid leather stuff I just use petroleum jelly or leather polish that has no color and then after working it in well. I just make sure to wipe off all the excess with a clean dry cloth until there's no noticeable residue. Only because 1)I don't want to risk an oil stain on clothes and 2) I can just imagine the tantrum that would insue if it slipped out of his hand while trying to pull it tight.**

Maybe I'm wrong. I remember the belts having holes before and after the belt size for fluxuation in waist size. Well this belt's holes max out at the belt size. So a 34 belt won't fit it your waist gets a little bigger . It will fit if your waist gets smaller though. I was expecting to have a few holes front and back of my size. The belt itself seems decent. A little on the plastic looking side like it's pleather. Not the heaviest leather, but it did coincide with the low price. The holes have grommets in them or maybe rivot sleeves. Seems like it would last a few years. Dickies is usually very durable the fit isn't that great but the materials used are great. I swear by Dickies Heavy Work Jeans and Socks. My previous Dickies belt lasted a very long time (possibly 10 years of commercial demolition) before one of the holes ripped split down the middle.

Could not be more disappointed by this belt. It looks and feels like a kids belt. No way a grown man would wear this. I returned this product without even opening the plastic. Easy to feel and see it was very cheaply made. Get what you pay for. This is the worst review I have ever written on any product in my life. So disappointed!

This is soft and good. Does not have any foul smell of leather either.

Love the fact that the holes go all the way to the buckle. Leather is good and strong.

It wasn’t double prong as shown in the description. I was disappointed because the double prongs fit my son best and this was not it.

Great Belt, great quality but smaller than stated, 34-36 is really length of 34, so really 30-32
