048-10 High-Low Hitch Receiver Adapter

This beast will surely hold more than 400lbs. I'm pretty sure the 400lbs rating is simply for insurance purposes because it easily supports 600lbs of weight. This thing is over built, heavy, and solid. I pity the fool who rear ends my trick with this thing on. It ain't gonna move!With that said, it lifts my hitch haul 60" cargo hauler just above my rear bumper on my 2001 GMC Yukon XL 3/4 ton. A MUST to keep that road grime off and eliminate contact with the pavement on steep parking lot entrances.

I picked this up to raise my cargo carrier up and away from the ground and exhaust of my minivan. It works great for my purposes. It's just really heavy and probably overkill for my cargo carrier. But at least I don't have to worry about the carrier breaking off on the interstate.

I needed a 10" drop hitch to line up my Toad properly. I went with the Roadmaster over another brand because the Roadmaster is rated for 10,000# vs the Blue Ox at 5,000. Now, my Toad is only 2,500 but my motor home hitch is rated for 10K so if I upgrade the Toad or sell the motor home everything will be at a consistent rated capacity. The hitch is heavy duty and fits my receiver perfectly! No rattle.
