This thing is freaking awesome!!! Ok calm down. What's the best thing I can say about a little doodad like this? Well... mine's been working flawlessly for almost 5 years. My adapter feeds a Huion Kamvas pen display. I'm buying a second one for a dual-monitor setup. It's nice when little things like this just work, and keep on working.

Works great to extend my old GTX 970 using hdmi cables to modern monitors
Everyone knows DVI-I/DVI-D is superiod to HDMI; however, it's harder and harder to find modern monitors with these types of inputs. This adapter works really well for both of my outputs to convert to hdmi and pass to newer monitors. Price point is great and not a lot of things can go wrong with this type of adapter (unlike mini/micro-hdmi/dp to hdmi adapters).

Most cost effective & flexible solution available
The utility of this solution was exactly what I needed (I.e., flexibility to attach or remove the connector to use my existing cable ad hoc on-the-fly in multiple applications, price-point, observed quality, etc.). If any and/or all of the three aforementioned attributes are important to you, I would highly recommend this solution. Also, Amazon's service level (don't remember if it was same-day or next-day, but it) was exactly what I needed for my situation.

My new pc has a HDMI and a DVI output. This gadget allowed me to use 2 monitors, so I can have different things showing on the screen at the same time. ie work and play, Excel and a website etc

Adapter tut was er soll
Sitzt passt und wackelt nicht. Funktioniert wie er soll. Haben ein TV mit 10m HDMI Kabel verbunden.
