I can't really comment on the water resistance, if it's leak proof, or how soft it is to sleep on, as I made a measuring error and couldn't get the cover onto my mattress. I will say this, however; this was by far the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced when shopping via a third-party seller on Amazon. Should you have a problem, they'll make it right, and I thank them for making it right for me. I also received my refund particularly fast. Thank you, J&V TEXTILES! You've restored my faith in Customer Service.

It was a bit of a challenge to put the mattress in (I have a full) however the mattress went in just fine for me with none of the issues others had. I recommend that you take your time when you get ready to put your mattress in whether or not you are doing it by yourself like I had to do. That being said it doesn't remind me of the mattress protector from the late 80's early 90's which was noisy whenever I would move in the bed. I will say that I did purchase this item because there was some wrong information from the seller. It does not encase and protect the box spring which is what I have to protect from one of my kitties. I had to go back on Amazon and order what I was originally after because this mattress protector wasn't exactly on the list. Anyways if you take your time you can get the mattress protector on and zip it shut with no problem. The only reason I didn't send it back when I realized what I had ordered is because I want to protect my bed and hopefully get control of my allergies since the mattress and box spring are brand new. Plus I don't want spiders making a home in my bed. This does fit my mattress no problem. And it is a nice material also.

Bought these for my seasonal rental property to protect mattresses. Tenants usually take regular mattress pads off so I tried these full encasement ones because it would be a bit harder to take off. Fit is pretty good, a bit big, but fine. Need two people to put on mattress. Not too noisy, as some waterproof materials are plastic feeling, not these. I haven’t heard any complaints about them being too hot, so I guess they are fine. The only reason I didn’t give a five star rating is they are too new, time will tell if they are worth extra star. But for the price, worth it. Will add to review at end of season if I determine otherwise.
