Lettering and Envelope Addressing Guide

I bought this set to give my handwriting challenged kid an easier go at writing a large amount of “Thank You” notes. She is very happy with them and her notes looked so much better this year than last. Good stuff.

I've been looking at stencils for a while to make addressing envelopes faster and less messy. These are great quality, they are made out of hard plastic not that flimst stuff. The one bonus is the longer stencil has a 1/4" slot that makes a convenient to check if an envelope is too thick. (Anything over 1/4" is charged extra postage)

I got these to address my Commencement Announcement envelopes. Quality is great. I use them to measure out the lines in pencil and I write my addresses in pen then erase the pencil lines. I got all three and these are heavy good quality plastic guides. Easy to see through and create the spacing you want. I would recommend. Comes in a sturdy cardstock envelope that fits all three rulers and is small to carry in a handbag. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is the lack of guide or ideas on lettering. Would have been a nice touch and the other guides seem to provide it with their guides. Even a downloadable pdf would be nice to help with lettering ideas.

As a relative newbie to calligraphy (a year), I have been using a ruler to measure and draw lines on envelopes and paper. When I saw this, I was a little skeptical. It seemed pricey for a piece of plastic. I am now a convert. It's incredibly easy to use and sturdy. I can draw lines in a fraction of the time I did before. It also comes in a variety of widths that cover your standard piece paper as well as long and short envelopes. Perfect. Worth every penny for the time and frustration it has saved me. Don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

Would buy again. Too bad that they should make three different sizes for writing on blank paper. And use a thicker plastic so when you write it doesn't move all over the place. When you do, please let me know!

These stencil tools are solid and so worth the price. I was writing client cards out and I’m tried of my sloppy writing. This helps keep my on track. I know some people were questioning how this helps with letters below the line (p,g,y,q) I write in the middle of the stencil opening and it worked perfect.
