End all be all for audio/network closets
wow iโve been needing something like this for a while. these fans replaced my complicated and unreliable set up for temperature controlled fans.i have my network and audio equipment in a dedicated closed with a single noctua 200mm fan exhausting through an 8x8 return air grill over the door. this works very well and keeps ambient temperatures down. where the setup struggles is moving the stagnant air from the back of the closet to the fan for exhaust. aswell as moving air through my A/V receiver. i now have two of these wall mounted (perpendicular) blowing air from the back to the front for the 200mm fan to blow out over the door and two more mounted on my AV receiver with their temperature probes run down into the internal heat sink. allows the fans to ramp up and down automatically and more importantly, SILENT unless under an extreme load(also have a gaming pc located in this closet for driving 85โ of 4k 144hz games) like that the fans arenโt always running flat out or idle and i donโt have to touch anything.will buy more in the future for my other entertainment cabinets throughout the house.

If you need something controlled by temperature, this is your fan
I used this fan specifically to swap out the fan in the Sabrent 5 bay hard drive enclosure because I wanted something that:- was quieter- was temperature controlled without the need for an extra temperature controller- constantly runs but at a very low speed when there's no need for extra cooling- designed for high static pressureThis met all those requirements and at an extremely attractive price point. Additionally in my situation it also has a higher top speed than the fan it replaced meaning it can flow more air than stock. This fan does experience the same resonance issues that Arctic's P-series fans have at certain speeds but that's not a huge issue in the end.

Solid, simple, and reliable fan.
This fan is simple and does what it's supposed to do, it brings in new air and exerts hot air.
User
It does what it is supposed to
