Great quality
Tried a few different brands out at REI and was gifted one Amazon brand one and the quality of this brand is far better in my opinion. Straps adjust easily for shorter or taller people, this matter to us since my husband and I switch a lot. I love that it doesn’t have the foot stirrups like most do and makes it to where they sit with an M shape. My daughter loves it sooo much that we use it instead of a stroller.

Amazingly lightweight
This item is truly amazing. You strap it on with baby/toddler inside & you can barely tell anyone is back there. The manufacturer has done an incredible job of evenly distributing the weight of the carrier. The product itself is very lightweight. It’s worked well so far.

Was perfect for my national park trip, sturdy, secure, easy to adjust
The backpack is a pretty big and heavy frame backpack. It does not require any kind of real setup. You just open it and it is a good to go. You can collapse the backpack for easy storage. It does have enough room on the bottom for some supplies such as bottle water and snacks. That being said it is a good backpack for my nephew. I am able to put him in and secure him to the backpack without worry of him getting out. The seat belt is really strong so he cannot move out of it. It also is easy to adjust and secure. The material is very sturdy and can handle the weight of up to 50 lb. My nephew sits comfortably inside the seat. There is a cushion in the front that he has some cushion if he falls forward. You can remove the cushion and wash it if needed. The shoulder pads are pretty comfortable and easy to adjust which is nice. It actually reduces the discomfort on my shoulder when I am carrying my nephew. There is also a buckle across the chest and waist so you can be sure it'll be secure to you. There is a kick out stand that you can use when you put the backpack down so my nephew can continue to remain seated inside. The kickback stand has a bit of grip on the bottom and it supports my nephew even when he shake around in it. It does not fall over or anything which is great. There is enough space in front of him to put a book in front of him so he can read. There is also a shade piece that you can easily put on to protect him from the sun. The shade secures well so if it is windy it will not fly off. Just be careful when you are taking the shade off as it is a flexible piece that will snap out when you remove it from the socket. The backpack is not washable in the machine and usually just spray wash and air dry. The cushion in the front is easy to remove and wash. The material gets stained easily and it is really hard to clean. I still was unable to remove that stain in the front. It does work for long hikes although I would still suggest using hiking sticks with this. It does even out the weight but leaning one way could cause imbalance. The back is also breathable so it allows for air to pass through and keep you cool. It is not water proof so be aware of that. This is still a heavy backpack due to the frame but it is secure. This is a secure backpack and easy to use. It is very sturdy and supports the weight of my nephew. He is comfortable and could even fall asleep in the backpack. You have plenty of buckles and adjustment for comfort. The only thing I found bad is the teal color is easy to stain and hard to wash.

Comfortable baby carrier
This is a wonderful baby carrier that is fantastic for longer hikes. It transfers weight nicely to your hips, it keeps your little one snug, and it's got enough mesh to keep you from overheating or sweating too much while wearing it.My little one has gotten big enough that the all soft and flexible baby carriers have started putting more strain on my back and shoulders than I would like. This baby carrier, like a good backpacking pack, transfers all of their weight to my hips. I can still tell that my little one is less little than they used to be but after a hike with them, I don't have the same back and shoulder pain I used to. Huge improvement. The carrier itself has a fantastic color that's pleasingly neutral. The mesh helps to keep my little one from overheating and sweating on hikes. That might prove problematic in the winter but this will be great for 3 seasons of the year. The design of the pack also allows for a decent amount of airflow on my back too keeping me from overheating.Using the pack is pretty straight forward - in fact I didn't find the instructions until I tried to put a water bottle in the storage compartment on the bottom halfway through my hike. Even without the instructions getting my little one safely buckled in and getting the pack adjusted for my frame was pretty straight forward to figure out. The storage area on the bottom is generously sized - you could probably fit a picnic in there with room to spare or a handful of diaper bag style necessities. The canopy cover took a little longer to figure out but once I noticed the velcro and the sheaths for the arches, it all made sense. My only complaint with this pack is that getting it on after your little one is safely strapped in is a bit tricky to do on your own. If you have a partner to help you lift it onto your back and keep it upright for your little one, I'd recommend going that route to get it on.All in all, this is a fantastic baby carrier. I'm super happy I got it.
