DDJ-REV1 2-deck Serato DJ Controller, Black

These decks are so great. Perfecr for anyone just starting becauae it offers intermediate and advanced tools built into the controller. Its 4 channels which is incredible. This is my go to travel controller. Never lets me down. Super functional, especially if your invest in pro software. Havent tested the durability of it, I baby it and keep it in a hard case.

I've been using the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 2-deck Serato DJ Controller since around 2022, and it’s been solid from the start. Great for parties and all kinds of events. I really like the old school look and feel, it gives that classic DJ vibe with modern functionality.It worked so well for me that when my son started DJing while I was away, I ended up buying a second one. So now we own two! Overall, the DDJ-REV1 is a great controller. Its reliable, fun to use, and perfect for both beginners and experienced DJs. Definitely worth it.

As a vinyl turntablist, I bought this controller as a backup unit to practice ane play around with in case my main control vinyl setup were to go down before or during a gig.I must say all the features in this mixer are amazing, easy to use, fun, and are plug and play. This thing plugs right in and works flawlessly with serato.For the price point and what you get this controller is awesome. As a vinyl scratch and performance House music DJ I love it, except for the fact its not a turntable and its small jogs make scratching and backspinning very difficult compared to what I'm used to. Even compared to CDJs which I also own. Not to say you can't scratch or perform tricks because you totally can, but just for my own personal preference I prefer bigger platters or jogs with adjustable tension so I'm only giving 4 out of 5stars for that reason along with inability to run analog thru the mixer portion of it. Otherwise, this is one helluva value packed piece of equipment! So if your looking for an entry level controller, I highly recommend this one. It compares to more expensive models, its battle style, it gives you everything you need to learn all the basics and gives you nothing you dont or won't need.Cheers!JJ JackTheHouse Johnson

The Best For Big Gigs & Small Gigs

It all boils down to layout configuration and what you want going forwardI Would definitely recommend for a brand new beginner (who knows they want to transition to vinyl/battle configuration setups down the line) or more experienced DJs looking for a compact battle-style configured controller as a backup.I’m an intermediate DJ. Been spinning for about 3-4 years I purchased the rev 1 to move my first controller the DDJ SB3 (another very good controller) to the backup role as with my experience up to now, I know I want to move to a battle style set up going forward (rev 7, 2 Rane 12’s and an S11 style mixer, etc..) and thought now was a good time to start developing my muscle memory in that direction.If that's you, go ahead and get this oneIf you're not sure, just go ahead and get a controller to get you in the game. This one would still be a good choice. You just may have to do some re-learning if you want to switch to another configuration.If you know you prefer the club-style CDJ style set up, then don't buy this one and go with the SB3 or similar style controller.I just received mine earlier today and have literally played around with it for about 10-15 min. F impression is that I love it!! Super excited. It Will take some getting used to for sure which I expected, but I know I’ll adjust. I’m already loving the fx levers btw.I hope this was helpful.

Quality is good overall. Could have been better. But for this price range hard to find any battle style DJ controller.
