Paradise-a legend, a myth, and a hopeless dream in a world that has become a wasteland. It is not meant for everyone, only the wolves thought to be extinct yet still roam the lands. When the Flower Maiden awakens, the path to the end will open. Kiba, a lone white wolf, wanders into a poverty stricken city on a quest. The scent of Lunar Flowers and the will to find Paradise is all he has. Along the way, he runs into other outcast wolves-Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own story and troubles. Fate bringing them together, they seek out the Flower Maiden, Cheza, and their way to Paradise. But, doing so is no simple matter. Up against a world that fears them and a man with mysterious abilities, their journey is overrun with challenges and worse-sacrifices. With limited time, they must fight to protect Cheza against everyone who seeks her and discover the hidden path to their destiny. This group of broken souls will form a pack and take their journey to the doors of Paradise. But is it worth the end of the world? Review: Beautiful Anime 10/10 - This is a must have for ANY anime fan. I remember when this show was airing on TV(adult swim in US). I was super young, but I was already watching anime by that time. I used to stay up late on school nights without telling my parents, just so I could record the new episodes on VHS. And one of my clearest memories was of episode 29, because I had chosen NOT to record that one and instead just watch it in bed. I cried my little heart out(Toboe </3) and regretted not recording that episode for years. Until eventually I bought all of the separate volumes to make up for the fact that I didn't finish recording it. And now, I have the better Blu-Ray high quality version of it, and it is just stunning. This is such an underrated anime, and I recommend it to everyone that asks. Whether they choose to watch it is up to them. However, all of the people that have watched it, have loved it as well. Wolf's Rain was one of the first shows that started my love for anime and I would never give it up. It is also one of the VERY FEW anime I watch and enjoy in English dubbed. Ugh, I can't gosh about this enough to get more people into it! I love it so much it hurts! Anyways, I'll stop my rambling of this amazing anime by saying that this series is definitely worth the price and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to give it a try. Review: An Amazing Series - This is a review both of the anime itself as well as the Blu-Ray edition of this series. As a massive fan of wolves and a decently big fan of anime, this series is easily my favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed the series as a whole and it is still my favorite animated series to date. The series is definitely worth watching if your interest is in more serious anime that has subtle depth to it’s story telling. If your interest is in more comedic or modern anime such as The Devil Is A Part-Timer or Sword Art Online, than this may not be the series for you. As for the Blu-Ray edition of this series, I would not necessarily say it is worth the $30+ upgrade from DVD if you already own it. Being a fan of Wolf’s Rain, I am completely ecstatic with my purchase and appreciate the slightly clearer quality and difference in Menu setup on Blu-Ray from DVD. However, if you are satisfied with your current DVD copy, than this purchase is hard to justify unless you are as large a fan as I. To summarize: A great series and very pleased with my purchase!

An Amazing Series
This is a review both of the anime itself as well as the Blu-Ray edition of this series. As a massive fan of wolves and a decently big fan of anime, this series is easily my favorite. One Of The Best
I am a fan of FMA: Brotherhood. Altogether, I am not a giant anime fan, but I enjoy the quality product that lays within anime. Wolf's Rain has stuck with me most of all the anime I have seen. I do not want to give major plot details, but the characters are great and balance each other. The story/plot is fantastic. The most important part is that there is cost within the story - this is not fancy fluff - the stakes are high. Originally upon watching the DVD version, I also bought the soundtrack. The music itself could be a whole nother review. I lent my old copy to a friend right before a falling out years ago, so I was wonderfully delighted to see this being released on bluray. Do not get me wrong, this series is worth the hefty price of the old version prior to this release, but if you have a budget, realism in cost is a valid concern. If you are a fan of good anime storyteling, do yourself a favor and pick this up at the price.

Nostalgia
I remember first watching this anime when it originally aired on Adult Swim. It was the first anime I had ever seen and I was so in love with it. Even though I always mentioned this anime when talking to others about the animes I liked, I never once thought about checking Amazon for the series until around Christmas when one of my friends mentioned owning it. I checked Amazon, and saw this box set. I ordered it, hoping all the DVDs/Blurays were there, and that it was good quality. I started watching it as soon as I got it in the mail and it's just as magical now as it was then. The box covering was in pristine condition, as was the plastic case. The DVDs and Blurays are fine, no scratches or finger prints (which there shouldn't be because the plastic case was wrapped in the standard plastic). And the video itself is great quality.

A perfect collection for a nearly perfect anime!
I love Wolf's Rain and have ever since it first came out. Watching the blu ray release has been a nice update with the colors looking sharper than ever, more vibrant, and the music (done by the incomparable Yoko Kanno!) is just as vibrant and effective as it ever was overlayed with the beautiful imagery and story. That said, there are 4 FULL episodes of recap in the middle of the series that are still here. I kind of wish that the blu ray release had addressed this better by putting them on their own disc, as a sort of view it at your own risk option. But that is the silliest of gripes and the only one I have for this release. But it's a perfect release. Pick it up!

You’ll Enjoy Watching It
This anime was full of beautiful art work And attention to detail. The story line was super interesting and unique. It even got my feelings twisting around at how emotional it was. The ending was a shock too, so be prepared for that. I also like the cover art and it came it great condition. I would recommend to any anime fan to watch it, you will have no regrets.

This is how you re-release a product. Amazing quality and amazing pricing. I was afraid this series would never be a part of my collection because of the out-of-print DVD's going for $500+ CDN from resellers, but thankfully we get this updated version at a great price. The series is a classic. Great story, great characters, AMAZING music. It's a must own for any anime fan!
