Works great, very bright, simple to install!
Works great! Easy to install. I bought this one to replace the first one of this same model that had lasted 5 years before the battery died. Then I found out the battery is replaceable, lol! Now I have two great lights!

Reliable Flagpole Light
This is the 2nd of these we've gotten - the 1st was on our flagpole for several years before the battery died. It was more cost effective to buy another light than to get the battery, so...We expect and hope this one will last just as long as the first and we live in an area where we have brutal sun & and extreme cold at times in Winter. Lights the flag nicely and stays on almost all through the dark hours. Usually, starts going out around 5 am, but we have ours set for the certain hours to be on. It CAN be set for dusk to dawn.

Works well
This is a nice light. I didn't care for the mounting options so I took it a step further. I bought a chain link fence post a lowes and a cap. Mounted the solar panel to it after I cut the post to the size I wanted. I did this because the sun is best on the south side of my house year round. My flag is set on my flag pole faceing east , I did this because high winds in my area. For me The problem I had was The light would be on the north side of my pole and the solar panel would be south of the pole. I have an annin solar light on the top of the pole. I wanted to inhance the light on the pole. I wanted the light on the west side of the pole faceing the road. So It would have a nice visual effect. I Like this set up because you can use your imagination to make it what you want to get out of it. I Like that you can change the batteries if needed. It also has a 1 year warrenty. I like the on off switch It has 3 settings for brightness. I set mine on the lowest settig so I can get 12 hours of light with a required 8 hr. Charge. I Would recomend this. Also look at the 16 foot extention wire. I purchased it to put it in grey conduit so I could run it under ground .

Wow! That's BRIGHT!
You know, there's a few options out there for lighting your flag at night, and really, it's the thing to do when you're flying the Red, White, and Blue - It's a classic part of 'flag etiquette.' You should fly your flag correctly as a proud American to honor the country that is the best in the world, and how better to do that than with this bright, sturdy, durable, dependable light assembly? It's easy as apple pie to assemble and mount, just follow the easy directions! Within minutes, you'll be the envy of your neighborhood as your well-lit flag is proudly displayed for all to see! It's an inspiration!

So far so good.
Works as advertised at this early stage. Provides good light overnight on the flag Previous made in China was a short term failure. Have learned to beware of the China products, particularly the solar lights. This unit was more expensive and appears to be better product. Beware the cheap China deals.

suboptimal
Edit: I’ll be returning today. Just isn’t cutting it.My full review is still out and I may be returning. The light is just not that exciting. It works but the metal part that holds it on my pole is "slippery" and I find the light turns slightly during the day. Maybe it just needs some tightening but the metal on metal pole isn't going over well. I probably can add some "rubber" to either but not sure the light makes it worth keeping. The light is on but can't say it does much for my flag, not very impressed...again, still deciding about it. Cannot fully recommend at this time.

Well worth the money. Very good led light and solar panel.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these to go with my flags. I researched numerous solar lights on Amazon before deciding on these. Am I glad I chose these? Absolutely. They met my expectations and matched up with what I read on other reviews. They put off a lot of light when they get a good charge. Now, if it's a rainy and cloudy day, obviously they won't get charged. They seem to have good battery life. I keep mine on 'normal'. Mainly to somewhat maximize the battery life. Now I could do 'low' and get longer battery life and still be happy with the amount of light projected.I mounted the led light bracket a little over one foot below the flag pole mount. The solar panel is mounted slightly lower and placed in the best direction to get the most sunlight. Once it got dark and the lights came on, I adjusted the angle to best project on the flags. I'm in awe of how great they look. I'm very satisfied with these led lights. Well worth the money and time to put them up. Would buy them again.

Just what I wanted.
This unit solved my problem. It seems most flag lights are designed to fit poles of at least 2" diameter. My little flag fits on a 1" staff and I guess most people just take flags this small down at night because their is no mechanicm to raise and lower them. But I wanted to fly my flag above my garden shed. For larger poles this light clamps to the pole with the solar collector on one side and the light on the other. When the mounting bolts are tightened, the flats of the brackets collapse around the pole to create a tight fit. Some people say this works fine for 1" poles. However, I wanted to be able to mount the collector to capture the most sunlight and that meant it couldn't be right on the pole. I was able to mount the collector where it was most efficient and the light where it was most effective. The light is bright enough but not brilliant. I think it shines a respectable light in and responsible manner. I hated the idea of burning fuel to make my small statement of patriotism. This works perfectly for my needs.
