Perfect tool for the job
Great quality and good packaging. Really great deal. It worked as intended. Perfect fit. It felt really nice, heavy, solid. I was changing water pump on Lincoln MKT 3.7l engine. And this tool made it really easy for me to hold the cams right in the desired spot without moving. So, I'm very happy. It made my life and job easier. Highly recommend

These cam shaft locks work perfectly. Great quality; made of heavy steel, they will not flex or bend.

Very good alternative
As a Ford senior master tech, i use the rotunda version often. Needed my own set for doing cam phasers at home. These cam holders fit well and are very strong. Ignore the reviews saying they bend. Theyre not intended for use while torquing or loosening the phaser bolts. You can damage your cylinder head because the tool will put marks in the valve cover sealing surface area. Theyre only to be used for locking the cams so the engine can be timed properly. Remove the tool temporarily and hold the cam with a proper fitting wrench while loosening and tightening phaser bolts then reinstall the tool afterwards (make sure timing marks on phasers are at 12 o'clock if you accidentally spun the cam). Also pay attention to which part # you need. One review shows someone trying to use a 303-1655 on an older 3.5L that uses the 303-1248. Only negative i have is the tensioner depression tool for the secondary chain in the 303-1248 kit doesnt fit well. It seems like its too long but i rarely use it anyway. I just press the tensioner down by hand when removing the phasers.

Great Product and Price
I used these on a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT 3.5L V6 (naturally aspirated) to change the Water Pump. They are heavy duty and fit very snug. They held good to remove and retorque the cam-phasers. I was able to complete the job without an issue. I’ll have to use them again to change my cam-phasers, as they have recently begun to fail. Overall a great product and price. Highly recommend.

VVT twin cam alignment
This is another tool that has the job of locking the cams in place before pulling the polyphasers off. And it keeps them in place to mount the new ones on the cams. And the price is very reasonable.
