Varathane Premium Fast Dry Dark Walnut Wood Stain

Used this for an indoor beam project we took on and I was not disappointed. A little goes a long way and it dried so nicely and fast. Love the color! Wasn’t too messy and I used it outside.

I have a mahogany project that, when sanded, looks almost pink. After filling the wood grain, I stained it with Varathane golden mahogany using a piece of paper towel. The wood grain came to life and the wood itself acquired a rich golden brown color. Under the right lighting conditions, the grain seems to dance as change my perspective. I followed the staining with a light coat of Bullseye spray shellac to act as a sealer before lacquer coats. I have nothing bad to say about the stain. There is an odor to the opened can but unlike some other brands, the odor is only slight once the stain dries. Recommended with the usual "test it on your own project before going whole-hog" advisory.

I got this to color some Basswood stuff that I Laser cut because the basswood is so lightly colored. I was amazed at the rich and beautiful tone of this mahogany stain. I think it's perhaps the best that I've ever seen. I needed so little it will last months. it also seems to dry quickly.

The cherrywood stain has a deep purple hue to it. It’s also a a much darker stain than I expected. It seems to provide good coverage and seals the deck appropriately.

Great stain. You'll need to stir it up after you open it then just paint. I believe there's a short video with instructions, need be.

I used the Varathane wood stain to refinish some teak outdoor furniture, and the results were outstanding. The stain gave the wood a beautiful, rich color while still allowing the natural character of the teak to show through. The finished pieces look far better than I expected. What impressed me most was how closely the Kona color matched an existing stained teak table we purchased in Thailand. I was concerned that the refinished furniture might look noticeably different when placed near the table, but the color match was nearly perfect. The pieces now look as though they were intended to be part of the same collection. I am extremely pleased with how this stain performed on teak. It both applies easily and a little bit goes a long way. If you are looking for a deep, warm finish that complements stained teak furniture, the Kona color is an excellent choice. I would absolutely use it again.

They are good for new surfaces. If your staining on old surface, sand out the old varnish completely otherwise you'll get a synthetic paint like grey.

اول تجربة لي مع هذا النوع حبيت أغير لون خشب سطح العمل في المطبخ من فاتح لهذا اللون اللون رائع نفس اللون الي كنت احتاجه وسهل الاستخدام ونص العلبة دهنت فيه تقريبا ٣ أمتار بتغطيه لون ممتازة جدا والريحة خفيفة جدا بس يحتاج بعده دهان حماية للخشب لانه هذا فقط لون مافيه حماية من الماء عيبه سعره المرتفع بالنسبه لكميته
