High value; hugely functional
I spent days trying to find an affordable, lightweight tent for backpacking. Unless you shell out $300+ you're not going to find anything. That is, unless you're fortunate enough to stumble onto this little bad boy. This thing is high value. As the picture shows, it'll comfortably fit two. I actually did two trips with myself and two kids (that's three). We had to lay sideways, but it wasn't too bad. The design is simply outstanding: great stitching, quality material, well thought-out zippers. The pegs are a nice, lightweight aluminum. It takes 5 or 6 minutes to setup and is lightweight enough to take backpacking. We did a 10-miler with this very comfortably. What's the catch? There really isn't one. Basically, it just doesn't have a frame. It uses a long paracord-type string that you can either (1) connect to two trees either side of the tent with a truckers hitch knot (kind of like setting up a hammock), or (2) you just place your hiking poles or a sturdy stick you find laying on the ground on either entrance to the tent. When you stabilize the sticks by pegging down your guide rope, this thing is as sturdy as any $300-500 REI special. Because it's so simple, there's less that can break. I'm thinking of switching out all my tents for two or three of these. If you're backpacking or just tent camping at a campsite, this will serve you very very well.

The Only Review I've Ever Left
I was so impressed by this tent I decided to leave a product review for the first time in my 10+ years of buying off amazon. My wife and I backpacked up a mountain and this tent held up through a wind storm at over 9000 feet in an open meadow. On top of that it's extremely light weight and the fact that it uses trekking poles allows us to spare even more weight and room in the packs. It was a quick and easy setup and breakdown. It rolls right up and fits back in the bag without any struggle. The inside was spacious enough for my wife and I, plus all our stuff, to fit comfortably. I really can't believe how great this thing is for being the literal cheapest 2 person tent on the market. There are only 2 cons I found: 1) It was very loud. We had to prop our shoes up on the door flies to keep them from rustling around all night. However, it should be considered that we were in some pretty extreme winds in an open area. 2) Lots of condensation build up in the morning. Not a huge deal and to be expected with any single wall tent when the temps outside drop. We turned it inside out and laid it in the sun to dry when we got home. By no means a deal-breaker but just something to consider if you're camping in the cold. Overall the cons are nothing compared to the pros, I remain VERY impressed with this tent.

Good value tent
Sides are saggy a little but other than that there’s nothing bad about this tent. I don’t think there’s a tent that’s more simple to set up than this, it rolls back up just fine fits into the bag and is small enough to strap onto the side of my backpack. Fits 2 blow up camping beds just fine although with 2 beds it’s slightly cramped but you don’t spend your whole day in there so no big deal. Great buy in my opinion.

Not fit for 2 people
We've used this tent twice. Both times we had heavy rain. No leaks, but if you touch or rub the inside you will get wet. The angle of the sides makes it very difficult for two people to sleep without touching the sides. Would be a great one person tent. After rain we packed tent and ground was totally dry. So floor is water tight. Great tent, not for 2 people.

Great affordable housing
Seems like a well made tent. Lots of fabric and stitching in the stress points. Seams are already taped to prevent leaks. Size is on point with the pictures. Will definitely keep and recommend to friends for affordable backpacking. I did modify it by adding extra tie out points on the sides to make it roomier. You will need a ground tarp as the bottom is made of the same fabric as the sides.

Too good to be true. It’s not
The product is really light weight and waterproof for sure. But can it be setup and stood up using hiking poles ? Not even in the dreams. My delivery must be missing some ropes/threads to hold the tent in place. Even with those, I highly doubt this tent can stand by itself. Please don’t waste your time buying and returning this product unless you intend to use it as a waterproof cover for some items in your backyard and not plan on camping with it.

Make your own guy line connections on the walls for stability.
Ok so this thing works exactly as it's supposed to. I wouldn't call it "2-person", more like "1.5 person".. I'm 6', 180-ish pounds and it's just big enough for me to have ample space on my own, but it would likely be cramped with anyone else. It's lightweight, but not ultralight, in case that's a concern. But it's definitely lighter than any of my other 2-person tents. I haven't taken it out yet to test it's waterproofing, but it seems like it would hold up well in normal rain. Takes about 3 minutes to set up, and take down isn't a total pain like some tents. My biggest and immediate issue is that it stinks. Bad. It smells like spray paint and fish, and it's nauseating. Also, for those talking about how it shakes too much in the wind, get a couple small pebbles, place on the inside of the tent and tie the tent around them to make a contact point for a guyline (pics added). Took me about 10 minutes to do it and it adds no extra weight and pulls the sides taught enough to prevent extreme shaking during windy days. No, you wouldn't have to do this for an ultralight tent, but you get what you pay for. Worth the buy, can't wait to try.

Lightweight, Easy Setup, Great Value
This trekking pole tent was easy to set up and has worked well overall. On my first use, I made the mistake of letting my dogs sleep in the tent with me, which led to a lot of condensation inside—likely from the extra moisture overnight. On subsequent trips, I made sure to use a rain guard, and that made a big difference. For the price, this is a great tent: lightweight, easy to carry, and well suited for overnight hiking or backpacking trips.

great for backcountry camping!
I chose this to hike Mt Robson in Northern BC in May. Super lightweight, packs nicely and is super easy to put up! A good tent footprint and you'll be nice and toasty

Don’t take it out in the rain
A light tent which needs walking sticks to be pitched. Will be very nice for fair weather with a wire mesh on both sides. May not be good for winters and snow. Took it out for some camping in rain. The cloth got wet and sagged a bit due to increase in weight. Anything touching the walls of the tent got wet. Space is enough for two people if you’re not using a thick mattress. Otherwise it is a bit congested with barely any space for luggage. All in all a good tent for fair weather hiking trips.

Good for dry climate camping
Worked well for me in the dry climate of Arizona in November. It is supposed to be a 2-person, but it will only really fit one.

It is not waterproof at all!!
My wife and I took it hiking on a coastal trail. It rained throughout the night and all night the "composite waterproof tape" leaked drastically, soaking everything. The light hook acted as a perfect drain to leak directly on to our faces. We tried for hours to ensure all was tight, set up nicely, under a tree but still could not escape the rain which was not a downpour but a constant drizzle all night. One of the worst nights I have had camping in YEARS. I would give it 1 star but I bumped it up to 2 stars only because it was quick and simple to setup. Save your money, invest in something that is a bit more expensive and will keep you protected from the elements.
