Great hammer, perfect for electrical work!
I really love this hammer, it's simple and straight forward, no bells and whistles, not gimmicks, just a solid hammer to knock about the job site or garage. The head being slightly narrow really helps when working in tight spaces and allows solid strikes without worrying about hitting other electrical components. Carpenters hammers tend to have larger, broader faces which are perfect for nailing and framing, but for electrical, they can be a bit wieldy and cumbersome. I found this narrow with the slightly longer neck to be very beneficial and easily able to work around junction boxes, studs and placing Romex staples. The fiberglass handles also offers a bit more protection against electrocution as it's non-conductive. The 18 ounce is a reasonably heavy hammer, strong enough for most jobs and I'm very happy to have it. The bright orange also makes it easier to find in the shop/job site. Great product from Klein, as always! 'If it's Klein, it's mine!'
