The Canine Digestive Enzymes are great! My dog’s system is working really well. Easier to pick up after him too!

I have a 10 year old golden doodle. He was having diarrhea for 7 months and after repeated visits to the vet no one could figure out what was wrong with him. The vet said it might be his diet didn't have enough fiber. Then the vet said that he needed antibiotics. Then the vet said that he needed to be dewormed again. And after 7 months and nothing working I was really getting concerned. He had lost 10 pounds and was down to 75 pounds. He had no energy, had started getting absent minded and been wandering off when outside, which he had never done before. His ribs were showing and he looked like skin and bones. I had read about epi in dogs. And the symptoms sound exactly like what my dog had. So I took him to the vet and asked for an epi test be done. They said it was really expensive and $360. I insisted on the test because at this point we had nothing else left to test him for. the vet told me not to give him digestive enzymes, because if he did not have epi the enzymes would make his diarrhea worse. Unfortunately the test came back negative and showing that he did not have EPI and so did not need digestive enzymes. But I had nothing left to try and so I decided to buy Dr goodpet and put my dog on the enzymes anyway. What a world of difference!!! His diarrhea stopped immediately. He started gaining weight again. He has more energy and acts completely normal and is amazingly healthy. I'm so glad that I ignored my vet's advice! I am now looking for a new vet. I highly recommend dr. Goodpet to anyone who is having diarrhea problems with their dog. Even if your dog does not have EPI, don't listen to any vet who will tell you digestive enzymes could make your dog worse. That's not true they can only help!

Dr. Goodpet is a great enzyme powder to add to my dogs' vet approved homemade food. They like the taste and it does seem to be helping break down the food. Their poops are solid and they are regular. I give it to both of my dogs, the 2 and 14 year olds and they are both energetic and healthy. Dr. Goodpet is a good value and good for your dog's tummy. I've tried others with not so great results. This is a keeper!

My girl has intolerances to ingredients in her former enzyme compound. So far this is helpful for her. She has multiple intolerances and allergies (which are treated with diet). I dose every meal, 3x daily. Definitely a necessity for family members with health and/or food issues.

I have been working with a canine herbalist after my dog was diagnosed with mast cell cancer. Among other herbs and supplements, she recommended these digestive enzymes as a basic enzyme to help with my dog's digestion. I recently switched him to an all-raw diet. My dog's poops haven't looked this good in a long time. Despite having surgery this past week and being on lots of pain meds and sedatives, I would have expected him to be struggling more in the poop department, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I noticed a difference immediately after starting this supplement, so I have to attribute it to Dr. Goodpet's. The only drawback is that our herbalist said I should put it on the food, stir, wait 10 minutes, stir again and then serve. So it makes feeding a little more complicated as my dogs are having to learn to wait for the food once it's out. Regardless, I highly recommend it.

My dog's sensitive stomach does really well on this supplement

We had been giving our dog Pancreved powder which was much more costly than the Dr. Goodpet enzymes. Many of the reviews stated that Dr. Goodpet worked even better than the prescription strength enzymes so we thought we'd give it a try. Within 2 days of giving Dr. Goodpet to our dog he had relapsed into having 6-7 bowel movements a day and they were very loose and watery. We immediately went back to giving him the Pancreaved and things got straightened out so he was only have 2 solid bowels movements each day. I do not recommend changing from the prescription strength enzymes to the Dr. Goodpet if you are having success with the prescription medication. The money saved is not worth the negative effects the change may have on your pets health and well being.

This digestive aid is really easy to use--I sprinkle it over my dog's dry food before mixing in canned food. That being said, I'm not sure that it helped with our original problem. We adopted a rescue dog about a year ago, and she likes to eat poop. It's a really disgusting habit that we would like to break. We were hoping this product would help, but nothing has changed. This bottle lasted about 2 months for 3 dogs 1x/day. I won't be buying this product again.
