Stainless Steel BBQ Cooking Griddle Universal Flat Top Insert, 12.5"×16"

It's just what I expected. As it sits a little higher than the surface it's on, it takes a little longer to heat. It cooked well and cleaned up easily.

I've wanted a griddle for sooo long. My grill deck measured 24"x17" so I hoped this one would fit. When I measured, I didn't consider the side frame that holds the warming rack, and there was also a small square bracket on each side that the hood stop screwed in to. Luckily I had nuts to replace the little brackets. After that it fit perfectly under the side frame. I've got just a little wiggle room on each side and an inch in the front with it pushed all the way back. Can't wait to use it after I get it seasoned properly! I'll post an update afterwards.

I got this to sit on my charbroil 4-burner grill. I wanted the durability and rust resistance of stainless steel. It fits great on the grill, just make sure you measure correctly and look in the back corners for a spacer. I just needed to trim mine a little for a good fit. I don’t have a problem with food sticking. Good heat transfer. Stainless doesn’t really season, so no worries there. You will get some hue from over spray but it’s easy to come off during cleaning. I’ve been using the scrub daddy grill brush for cleaning and that works great.

I bought this for my Camp Chef camping two burner stove when I feel a large crowd. So far I am impressed with the build quality and construction. As with most griddles, there are sometimes hot spots that form over the burners that cook food unevenly. This griddle is no different. One tip that worked for me is to use large flat gas stove diffusers between the gas flame and the griddle to better distribute the heat for more even cooking. This works like a charm. Another thing I like about this stove is that the handles can be easily removed for storage and transport. This griddle fits my camping stove perfectly!

I hate to say but if would not buy this griddle again for several reasons. First the good. I have a 5 burner gas grill and it fits perfectly. And that's about it. The griddle came in a box with a bag containing 2 handles and 4 bolts and no instructions. Nothing on assembly, no care and maintenance, nothing on seasoning, nothing. One of the bolts fits on the handle then you pass it through the side and attach the other bolt. Unfortunately this bolt gets in the way when you're trying to clean it or scrape food from the edges and I even caught my hand on it. I would have much preferred welded handled. I'm probably going to remove them. The grease tray doesn't detach, there's no hole or anything so all your waste collects. The only way to empty it is to either scoop it out, or wait until its cool and tip it over, but then you have cold food and grease stuck inside the grease tray. I got the surface temperature of the griddle upto 350F but once I started putting food on it went down quickly and it was hard to get it to come back up to temperature, even with 5 burners going at full. Next time I use it I may remove the heat distribution tents, if there's a way to keep the grill off the burners themselves. I'll try it at a higher temperature next time, but it took quite a while to get to 350F and I was running short on time. It took a lot longer for the rice to cook than I expected and the eggs took ages to scramble. One tip, if you use this or any griddle, make sure it's level. A lot of the oil ran to the back of the plate since I was on a bit of a slope. A couple more good points. The food tasted delicious once it was finally cooked. The heat spread well and it's very sturdy, but overall I'm disappointed in the design and difficulty in cleaning it.

This isn't a bad review, believe it or not. It's <$100 for a griddle. I wasn't expecting to get a $300 level of product for $100, and I didn't. And that's fine. It warped on the first usage, which made things a bit more complicated to manage food distribution when I was using it. I think having the handles removable or have them slide vertically would make it easier to use and cause less interference with the grill top/lid. That isn't a showstopper by any means. Heat distribution was awful. I was using a 1 year old Weber Genesis grill with all of the burners on. Burners were all clean, and the flame distribution across all burners was even. Not a grilling newbie here, but am new to the grill top griddle scene. The heat distribution was very uneven, but again, for the money, you can't expect a top tier quality item. For my needs and usage, I'll make it work as the price point worked for me and I'm not using it very much. I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying this at all. I just wrote this so that folks can level set their expectations is all. Shipping was on point and fast. Elite.

When we cook out on the grill specially with vegetables as they cook it’s hard to turn over and many slip pass the grates . This was the greatest thing we use. The sausage cooks on the grill the peppers and onions go on this and it smells like the fair!! Can cook bacon and eggs too! And to top it off everything still gets that smoky flavor!
