It works, The girls in the family were complaining that the city water (which has high chlorine) was affecting their hair and skin. we moved from a property that originally had a well and the water was very good. After I installed this filter, and I did not even tell them I was installing it. The wife and daughter were talking the other day and mentioned how much better their hair feels and they were wondering if they got a new bottle of shampoo or conditioner etc. not knowing that I put the new filter in. I mean those two are blind as bats.. they hit every curb in town any chance they get with the car. I said I put a new filter in the shower, of course I get “yeah it’s not that“ from the wife. But I think it is because two days later after filter they were both talking about how their hair was much better and their skin felt better. I don’t notice the chlorine smell anymore at all and my hair and skin feels nicer. Maybe I’ll do an experiment and take the guts out of the filter and put it back together and see if they start complaining again. But in my household you cannot get any satisfaction from these women I think they’re better than The carpenter, the plumber, the electrician and mechanic, that lives with them... but my overall assessment, this filter does work I can’t tell you how long it works for because it’s only been a few weeks but I am hoping that it lasts at least the six months that they say it does. Hopefully the people in your household are much more grateful and can appreciate nice things when you try to do them lol.

We have some of the worst water. Despite having a water softener, I was still getting iron deposits in my hair and was damaging my blonde hair. This filter has helped my hair stay blonde and soft between colorings.

I was worried this would restrict the water flow to my showerhead and was delighted to see this was not the case. I was able to immediately tell the difference in the water quality as my skin didn't dry out afterwards. Very happy with this purchase.

Fast and easy to install and change filters. Seems to work well.

The water in our area has a slight chlorine smell to it. The smell transfers onto your skin. This filter system works great and took care of that issue. It's a quick fix until we get a whole house water softening system.

Was great for about 2 weeks, until the water pressure reduced down to a dribble in the middle of washing my hair. Had to exit the shower mid-shampoo in search of a wrench to loosen the bolt and remove the filter so that I can finish bathing. Even bought replacement filters and pads, but couldn't even get the damn thing open to make a swap. Complete waste of money.
