Mouse traps
These mouse traps work good caught to mice. Also, my fingers when you only have one hand to use, but they’re good.

I think these are the best traps for mice
I like this type of trap. With the wide trigger, if you place them in tight spaces (like besides and behind the fridge), you don't even need to bait them. I just line 3 traps in a row and make sure that theres no space for them to go around the traps, and wait. It might seem like a lot of traps, but eventually you need to throw these things out. If you haven't checked the trap in weeks, the trap can get disgusting from the dead mouse decomposing. If you catch enough mice with the trap, the staple holding the middle bar will dislodge and no longer work. But thats after years of work and the single trap has gotten like 40-50 mice (I live in the country, surrounded by woods, and have chickens and their feed attracts mice and moles like no tomorrow). I can't remember how much these were, but for a quarter or 50 cents, these things are definitely worth it.

Very effective mousetrap that can be set so it is very sensitive to trip
I find the key to catching mice with a snap type trap is to have a very sensitive trip plate on the trap so that very light pressure on the trip plate springs the trap otherwise you will end up just feeding the mice. Victor traps many years ago for some reason switched their bar catch from tripping from the front of the trip bar to the side of the bar. I was never able to consistently set a light enough pressure with this setup resulting in too high a percentage of the bait eaten off the trap without tripping it. This Tomcat trips trip like the old Victors did resulting in a high percentage of successful trips for me. I like to set my traps so sensitive that they will occasionally trip even when just setting the trap in place. I find that sanding or using a very fine file around the round edge on the very end of the trip bar gets rid of any invisible burrs that may catch that otherwise could prevent the trap from springing. Be careful your fingers are never in the way of the kill bar when setting the trap. I find peanut butter makes a great bait, it is cheap, sticks to the trip plate, and mice really go for it.

Work okay but there are better traps out there
These work fine. The mice were much more attracted to the plastic traps i bought with the jagged teeth. One of these wooden traps failed to go off and the dang mouse took my bait. The plastic traps attracted more mice and worked 100% of the time.

Good trap
They function well, I respect the large trigger.

Works for a short bit
Caught/killed two mice, but the trap fell apart on what ever set it off the third time out. Works but doesn't last long.

You can't build a better mouse trap!
I have had quite a few different design mouse traps over the years. This one works! It has a hair trigger, so the slightest attempt by that critter to take the cheese and he's done for. These are good quality for a low price. They set easily if you aren't ham fisted. I like the bait paddle design as it holds the bait well making the little guy work for it, which you want. So far I haven't seen any bait eaten without a catch. Pro tip: try using store brand Velveeta as bait. It really sticks to the paddle. Of course, if you're feeling boojey by all means use the name brand.

mostly successful
Sometimes they work great, but sometimes they break on the first snap. Trying to find some that has a better ratio than 1 per mouse attempt per trap. They have succeeded with several mice. But also half broke from either that mouse or just the spring action of going off. Nice size
