Film and Slide Digital Converter

Not bad for price

I bought this unit at WalMart. Too bad I cannot locate the receipt, I would have returned it long ago. The images it produces are comparable to images you get out of a webcam. Color is lacking, images are noisy, like they came out of a Fisher Price digital camera. Do not be fooled by the cheapness, save your pennies and invest in a better product.

I used this to archive an organization's old slide film. I gave it two stars because it is incredibly cheap and you get what you pay for. That said however, the software in clunky, the drivers occasionally malfunction or don't install correctly for no apparent reason, and the image quality is incredibly poor unless the original photo has the perfect balance.

This item doesn't even warrant one star. It shouldn't be this difficult to use, but the manual is incomprehensible and incomplete, the help section useless and the image quality is very poor.Don't waste your money or time, like we did.
