Mixes well including protein and the customer support team does a great job at helping you out if it stops working especially Judith! The battery lasts awhile even with consistent use.

I’ve waited a few months before writing my review. This thing has lasted me for good amount of time. I use it everyday. I also tried it with hot things such as tea and coffee but I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to stain it and give it a shorter lifespan. Design is cool, doesn’t leak one bit with the lid fully down or on its lesser closed option(which I’m sure some people don’t know the lid has 2 closing options, half and full). Overall best purchase ever. Battery lasts me for about 2-3 weeks but I also keep up with charging when needed. I wash with battery attached since I don’t use a dish washer and it works well. Finally I use ice in some of my drinks or mixes and that works out great. It doesn’t blend it of course but it mixes it well.

Works great, had an issue with the first one making a whining noise, however they were very responsive and replaced it quickly. Second one has been working perfectly!

I will start by saying, yes this has issues. But, it deserves a fair shot. Lets start with the pros.This unit is easily rechargeable and charges very quickly via its USB-C port. The bottle construction is quite tough and the mouth of the lid is one of the best on a self-mixing bottle. I have used the Vortex Bottle, as well as a few variations and the mouth of the lid always frustrates me.The motor has a good fast RPM. The "blades" really do a good job with agitation.But, the unit has a lot of issues. Good luck with customizing the light color. The motor torques out if the blade hits any ice as it blends. The motor does not run near long enough to even mix crystal lite. I run it multiple times to mix anything. It does it, but it is slightly annoying. That being said, I use my unit a lot and end up charging it every couple of days. It is super easy to deal with, hence the four stars. But take the ad with a grain of salt and be realistic.

It is now 3 months after purchase date (and out of the return window) and I went to use my blender this morning (I have only used it about half a dozen times since purchase) and the spinner motor was turning but the blender bars inside were not. I only had milk and protein powder in there. I emptied all that out and tried to see if the blender bars were actually NOT turning (can't see well through milk) and I replaced it with plain tap water to see what was happening.The spinners were moving SO slowly that they were barely moving at all (with just tap water in it!). I wondered if it was the motor or if it was just resistance presented by the water so I poured the water out and tried turning it on with an empty cup. THEN the spinners worked just fine and at the speed they were supposed to which does no one any good since you are buying this thing to mix more than air in the cup.I have contacted the seller about this because I am furious. NO ONE LIKES WASTING THEIR MONEY and it doesn't matter how small the amount of money is (although the more expensive the greater the level of outrage and feeling like you have been defrauded). I am hoping they will make this right and this is not the expected level of quality from all their blender bottles. We'll see. Until then, caveat emptor my friends. Spend the extra money and buy something that you can be confident will last instead of buying something just because it looked cute.This was my original review: If you need something lightweight and portable, this is GREAT for things like mixing water flavoring powders or BCAA supplements into liquid but this will become a disappointment if you are trying to mix protein powder or meal replacement shakes.If you are a power user of protein drinks and need a blender for heavy duty every day use or to use on a regular basis with something thicker than liquid and a tiny thimble full of supplement powder, this is not the one. I loved this thing but after 2nd use, the battery at 70-80% power would not stay running for longer than 30 seconds no matter how many times you press the button.

I bought this right at a year ago. The shaker has worked really well for me. I typically use cold brew coffee and a scoop of chocolate protein powder with some crushed ice.When new the motor would power right through without issue. I bought two more for family members. A couple of months ago (10ish months of ownership) my motor didn't have the power it used to and the battery would not hold a charge. The other two shakers still work like new.I went to Voltrx web site. I sent an email to customer service explaining my issue. They responded the next day. They asked me to fill out the online warranty form. I asked for a replacement motor. I received a new shaker a couple of days later. No questions asked, they just replaced it.Lid snaps shut tight. Make sure you put the o-ring/gasket in the bottom of the lid or it will leak. The carry ring broke easily on mine. It doesn't bother me, but it may be a deal breaker to others. I would definitely buy again.
