Cheerwing CW10 Mini is one of the best indoor quadcopters for beginners
Cheerwing CW10 Mini is one of the best indoor quadcopters for beginners. You can fly this mini quad indoor without worrying too much about crashing. If you’re just getting started, don’t buy one of those expensive quads when you have little or no experience. Start off with something relatively cheap and get some more flying experience under your belt before moving on to the pricey versions. The CW10 Mini enables you to enjoy flying fun anyplace, anywhere, and anytime. It is very stable and comes with sophisticated navigation systems like gravity induction mode, altitude hold mode, one button take-off/landing function, and stabilization technology. Stabilization technology features ensure you don’t over-correct when you fly, you can fly it without worrying too much about crashing, and this technology lets the quadcopter “auto-level” itself whenever you get in trouble. So if you experience difficulties while flying the drone, just let go of the sticks, and the quad will stabilize and come back to a hover by itself, but by no means do these features mean just let go, and it will handle itself. The CW10 is a fun and easy way to get better at flying and getting a feel for controls and orientation coordination. It has highly impressive specs for a mini quad, and when flying, you will quickly gain confidence in your ability. Suitable for anybody, as a fun gadget or a trainer for larger quads.

Good little drone.
It is a very good beginner drone. It is limited on range and battery life, but the camera works very well with my sons iPhone. If you are looking for flight time of more than 10 minutes, I would recommend you consider other options. As a parent this drone is fine to fly indoors so long as your pets don’t find it to be a chew toy(we put our dog outside while it was flown indoors.

So many options - all very easy to control
This is a perfect drone for new uav enthusiast. Video and pictures, live stream, auto land/hover and a shut down feature in the event of a collision. So much technology in such a small package, it's incredible. The 3 batteries charge quickly... (About as fast as the flight time)... The only con is swapping batteries is a challenge but worth the effort!! This is easy, fun and affordable to fly

Everything's good, except the battery
Got this as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old nephew. It's easy to set up and pretty quick to charge. Using the drone is super easy. It's stability is great and responds really well to the remote. You can download an app to gain full use of the camera. Range for the drone is decent given it's a small indoor drone. You can fly it on one level of the house utilizing the camera while sitting on another. Now the biggest down side of the drone is the battery life. The drone come with 3 battery packs, each pack only storing a measly 5-6 min of flight time. Truly disappointing given all it's other great features. The second you get it up off the ground it's going to need to be recharged. You can buy the same size rechargeable batteries on Amazon that can store more power. But you really shouldn't have to buy after market parts just to get something to work.

Get two.
UPDATE~ After about a month of fairly regular use the battery gives me 2 minutes outdoors in light winds. I rerouted the wifi antenna through the top of the fuselage and taped it down, video stream is improved. New pilot about six weeks in and I can only fly two quads with the app controls. This ain't one of them. YMMV. The bird is easy enough to work on for hobbyists. When the internal battery goes I've already got a H36 crash kit with a frame that takes a small lipo, the top cover and board will have to be dealt with. Of my ten toy drones, this one gets flown everyday. The price should be under 25 dollars in this market. Pay more if you need it quick through prime. Otherwise google is your friend and wait for your drone to arrive from the factory sellers overseas. I bought this as a companion to the Potensic A20, this same airframe and remote without a camera. The handling is on the money for me. The video feed was surprising for such a tiny camera. It isn't 'usable' professional quality, but for a technosaurus who still has his 1995 usb camera it is stellar. It will share a controller with the camera less version. Glad I have two of this airframe. Charge time isn't that bad and I fly mine hard about five and a half (ish) minutes before getting warning lights.

One of the best mini drones available
I've bought several variations of remote-controlled mini quadcopters, and this particular "Mini Drone" is the best I've flown. Recently, most drones have begun using the same commodity controllers, chips, cameras, and batteries, resulting in a marketplace of drones that share the same features, and differ only in form factor. As an example of this, the Cheerwing CW10 Mini Drone shares the same feature-set and controller as the udiR/C Piglet U36W Mini Drone, which has a dramatically different form factor. However, the Cheerwing is MUCH sturdier, and flies much better. Compare that to the Piglet, whose rear plastic fan guard and leg broke within five minutes of me flying it. As soon as I started up the Cheerwing, I was utterly impressed at how well the altitude stabilization and heading orientation worked. This is the first such drone that actually performs as well as its advertising suggests. The sturdy form factor really impressed me as well; the fan guards do a great job at protecting people and objects from the spinning blades, and I suspect that the shape of this drone assists in aerodynamic stability, resulting in a smoother flight. I can't state enough that ALL drones really should have 360-degree fan guards, because even the half-dollar-sized micro drones can inflict damage with their exposed, fast-spinning blades. Even if I utterly trash this drone by accident, the first thing I'm going to do is hop onto Amazon and order another one right away.
