What does it sound like?

Greetings! Thank you or your question. It sounds like, "ahhhhhrhrrrrroooooooooooooooo!!!!!"

Does this horn have a smell to it?

The horn I purchased doesn't smell. This item is less artistic than I'd anticipated.

How long is the strap?

It is about 40 inches in total length if laid out straight so attached to the horn it's about a 20 in arch

Can someone post a recording of what this sounds like ?

Can't Post the sound but it is an excellent piece and the sound is full-bodied!
