Going through an elimination diet is, frankly, depressing. I'm sick of food - the planning, preparing, eating, storing, looking at... it's become so tedious. But these were a delightful treat. I bought one pouch to try out the recipe with no bells or whistles or add-ins. Just what was listed to get a feel for the base I was working with. It's good, if a teensie bit simple, but perfect for modifications. The next one I bought, I added in the zest of one orange and a little more than a 1/3 cup of dried cranberries. BOOM. Fabulous. I used fractionated avocado oil (avocado shortening) as my oil, and after portioning out 12x 1 inch balls, I flattened them down to about 1cm (since they don't spread much in the oven). 10 minutes later, I had perfectly moist 3inch cranberry orange foatmeal cookies.

These are sooo delicious! Just as good as regular oatmeal cookies. If you're deciding between their brownie mix and this cookie mix, choose the cookies. Yum!

These taste amazing and I would buy them repeatedly if it were not for the price. They stay soft and chewy even after cooling and being refrigerated.

I’ve tried their cinnamon muffins, oatmeal cookies and the fudgenot muffins. All were delicious. It was so good to have something that tasted like chocolate cake. Especially when I added fresh sliced strawberries and coconut yogurt ice cream to the muffin. HEAVENLY in both taste and texture. The muffins freeze well, too. I usually buy a buy bags of the muffins. Bake them and then throw them in freezer bags. This has been a huge help with avoiding giving into my chocolate cravings. Unfortunately, the price keeps climbing and is just too high for the small amount you get. Plus the cost of your own ingredients you have to add in. If I am going to add in the maple syrup, coconut oil, etc. I might as well just add in the dry ingredients as well. I’m sure this won’t be the last time I purchase their products (in a pinch) but my new quest if to find a similar easy recipe online and make the muffins from scratch. I’ve been able to make the “oatmeal” cookies from scratch. They came out delicious. It’s not just about saving money. Certainly time is money, and these packaged mixes save some time in the kitchen. It’s also about the principle and their practices. I notice they play around with their prices. For example, last week I was on their website and the cookies were 12.99 and the muffins were $13.99. Today I received a an email offer for 15% off. I went to the site to take advantage of the discount, and noticed all the products went up $1 from last week. Basically the dollar one would have saved, was added to the cost. Clever but a little shady. Overall, no complaints on the baked goods. They are delicious, compliant to AIP, and easy to make. Every batch has come out perfect in texture and taste. No gumminess in the middle. They certainly make AIP bearable! I was on AIP for a year before finding this product. What a game changer! Just wish they were a little more fair, honest, and consistent with their pricing.

another great product from G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R! I am 28 days into AIP diet and could just use a break from food prep and something sweet. These actually are reminiscent of oatmeal cookies. A quick and easy treat.

I made these Foatmeal cookies on Christmas Eve and they were a huge hit. Everyone kept reaching for them, even the people who are not doing the AIP diet. No one could believe they were made with a special mix because they tasted like classic, comforting homemade cookies. They were easy to make and filled the house with the best cozy holiday smell. The texture was perfect and the flavor was warm and satisfying, not dry or bland like some alternative mixes can be. If you are looking for a cookie mix that everyone will genuinely enjoy, regardless of diet, this one is a winner. I will definitely be making these again for future holidays.

Great replacement for an oatmeal cookie base - I’ve become addicted to it! I recommend adding dark chocolate chips (mini chips are less messy) and shredded coconut- MMMmmmmph! SO GOOD! Sweetened coconut works best but dried coconut also works, add some extra water. The more additions you make, the more cookies you get. Personally I like them thick and chewy, but you can make them thicker or thinner by varying the size of the cookie dough ball. I like to press a slight thumbprint at the top before cooking. It seems to spread less and remain thicker and chewier.
