Laser cane for Parkinson's Disease
I am very satisfied with this cane. It was recommended to me by a pt person that uses the BIG program for PD. it definitely helps with my freezing! I would recommend to anyone that has freezing problems. If. You can afford it, buy it!

Like the laser, but cane was not stable.

Not worth the $245 exorbitant price. no instructions or details:
Product is NOT worth the money.. just because it is classed as “medical equipment “ doesn’t mean you hold have to pay inflated price for this cane. It came with no instructions nor how to replace the laser itself should the need arise. It is large and very clumsy as it does not retract. I am very disappointed.

My mom is still in training but the stick seems to be made of good quality and sturdy
My mom has Parkinson's plus and has sever gait problems! The specialists in India are helping train her to use the stick to help her with the freeze problem! The cane is supposed to be effective in helping her walk during her freeze period! My mom is still in training but the stick seems to be made of good quality and sturdy

Great Device for Mobile Parkinson's Patients that suffer from freeze's.!
I have not bought this device. I don't currently have a need for one.But I want to review this device because it's an efficacious piece of equipment.I'm a retired RN and a retired neurology practice manager. And I've had experience with earlier versions of this device. These things began as a mechanical device as part of a regular cane. You pulled a trigger like device. And small redrod (about 4 inches) came out from the can. Even that much simpler device worked quite well with people who still hadsome mobility but were plagued by "Freezes". The red line in the person's path sends a message to the part of the brain thatcontrols motion. And the person takes a step forward. Breaking the freeze. This new device with a long bright red line should work even better in most cases. This is a real thing. But, nothing is 100% fool-proof. This works with the vast majority of people. If mobility is the problem. There's a good chance this device will work for you. Ask your neurologist. He'll advise you, on how it will fit your situation. And help you learn its easy use.

Great product
Very cool laser cane. Works just as represented.. Does not always “unfreeze” my gait but it helps a lot.

Does Not Work For Me
Perhaps my Parkinson's is too advanced. It is too difficult for me to get the laser light far enough ahead to step over it and at the same time have the cane close enough to me to act as a support.
