To bond tile to DITRA, using a 1/4" x 3/8" (6 mm x 10 mm) square- or U-notched trowel: Use one 50 lb (22.68 kg) bag of mortar per 40 - 50 ft2 (3.7 - 4.6 m2). I think the max coverage would be the 150-200 sq. ft. if using a 1/8" V grove trowel. Bigger notch trowel will cover less. To bond tile to DITRA-XL, using a 1/4" x 3/8" (6 mm x 10 mm) square- or U-notched trowel: Use one 50 lb (22.68 kg) bag of mortar per 35 - 45 ft2 (3.3 - 4.2 m2).See coverage table at Schluter web site.

Is this suitable for mounting large format glass tile. Does it have latex?

Yes, it’s made for any type of large format times. For glass, be sure to get white, not grey version

Overpriced

I love this product, however, I cannot find it anywhere in my area. This normally retails for $35 but if you want to ship it, you'll pay $75 for shipping. So I guess if you want it really bad, you'll pay $80+ because that is cheaper than $35+$75 shipping plus tax.
