I had to say goodbye to a a hamper I was using for a little while and the handle, which was sewn on, detached while I was lifting it up into the cart I used to transport it to the laundry room.But I like the look of this one much better and it stands up on its own. I just put one of the two hospital laundry bags I’ve been using for years now inside and used the drawstring to hold it in place around the hamper and then when it’s full, I will take the bag out and put that inside my cart rather than putting the hamper itself through too much by picking it up and putting it in my cart.This seems like it will hold at least two loads of laundry, which is all I need it to hold because I will only wash two loads each week.It does look nice on the outside and inside. It’s a cream color on the outside with gold handles that look as though they would be able to handle moving the hamper into my cart if I wanted to, but I just don’t want to risk anything happening to my new hamper at this time, so I will stick with my plan. The inside is a dark brown which has a bottom plate that is removable and I think the material can easily be wiped down, both the bottom plate piece and the walls of the hamper.I did just receive this item yesterday, so time will tell, but it appears to have more stability and I like the look of it visually more than the hamper I replaced, which just collapsed when it wasn’t full of clothes and easily fell over with my clothes inside when it was full.

I love this laundry basket.Great size.I also use it to organize my kid's toys.

I use this to disguise or cover my safe I have in my house. I had to cut the bottom corners to get it to fit over my safe, but now covers all way down the safe sides, front and back.

I bought this Feb, 10, 2019. And 6 years later it is still holding up. Do recommend.

Just what I was hoping for when sorting laundry. When I'm done with one of the baskets, it easily folds flat. I would buy these again.

It may be odd to love a hamper, but I love this one. It has a small footprint with sides straight up and down, so it takes little space. It holds more than I thought it would, which is great. The hamper folds flat to take almost no space when not in use, and it keeps its form when in use. The hamper doesn't have any holes for ventilation, which is something I don’t like. But I don't count this against the hamper because it's so simple to buy mesh laundry bags for a few dollars (IKEA sells the perfect size, and with a metal frame, they stand up inside) and they fit perfectly inside the hamper and can be easily snatched up for super convenience and even more lightweight transfer to the laundry room, not that the hamper is heavy. It's not. The problem I've had with the mesh bags alone is that, when very full, they bulge out at sides. With this hamper, they can't do that. Also, I tend to get holes in the mesh bags when they don't have extra protection around them, and this hamper prevents that problem. Even if you can't find the mesh laundry bags with the metal frame, it's easy to use a plain mesh bag and simply secure it to the handles on each side of the hamper. This product is a clever design that takes little space, does its job well, and doesn't start to smell. For smells, it certainly helps that the top is wide open, making it easy to drop items in it. I bought this on a lightning deal for $11.99, and it's definitely worth it.Add on: Amazon sells cotton bags that fit these hampers to make it easy to grab the bag and take it to the laundry. But I still prefer the mesh bags.
