dOvOb Micro Building Blocks Set, Louvre Architecture Model Kit for Adults

I assembled it in less than 24 hours. It's not for everyone; it requires patience, and the pieces are so small they can hurt your fingers a little (I recommend using a piece of fabric to join the smaller pieces). But that's overshadowed by the very satisfying result; it's totally worth it once finished. Things to keep in mind: the pieces don't come in numbered bags, so it's best to open them all and separate them by color (I didn't do it, but honestly, it would have been easier that way). You need to designate a space just for assembling the set, since the pieces are so small they can easily get lost, so keep an eye on them. And finally, if you're thinking of giving this to a child, save yourself the trouble; it's not for that audience. It's for adults with this specific type of hobby. Make sure the person would actually enjoy this kind of thing, because otherwise, you'll just be wasting your money. It's not that there's anything wrong with the set, it's just that you need to know who will give it the importance and effort it deserves. But hey, it's spectacular, totally recommended.

Very fun to do the detail is amazing instructions most importantly are clear so you don't get too many mess ups but it looks absolutely wonderful after just be careful with the clear pieces cause they're hard to see

This is my second micro block building set but first from this brand. Found it to be very similar to the other brand I had purchased from in regards to the instructions format. Thing I liked about this one is that the back page of the instructions listed each piece and the quantity you should have. When I was sorting my pieces since they just come in random mixed bags it was nice to be able to identify right from the start if I had extra or less than noted. I did not run out of pieces and had extras of various pieces. I will say some the the steps listed more pieces than what you actually needed. The instructions could be clearer it can be difficult at times to identify where each piece goes/which piece is which. So I would set the pieces down on the table first to see if it matched up before connecting. I did change the arrangement of how to connect the pieces from what the instructions said to make it more sturdy. Some areas of the build broke down as I was trying to build up cause it was not sturdy enough. I do agree with the comments regarding the base on the structure. Why is it not just one large or two pieces at most? It’s very uneven/unfortunate. Overall for price would recommend to someone who doesn’t mind micro blocks. I don’t know what age this should be set for just because of the instructions but I’d probably say a teenager to adult gift.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it. She and her mother enjoyed several evenings together assembling it. I have not built any dOvOb kits myself but have purchased two more them

EDIT: Got the missing piece sent to me via mail. Everything is perfect. Thanks. I enjoyed putting this together. The pieces are micro. The instructions are good. It did not take very long to put together. The larger base pieces are warped but usable. There are many extra pieces BUT missing one piece in the front that makes it annoying for me to look at. Emailed the company but have not heard anything back. Made the Eiffel Tower from the same company which was way harder to put together. Will probably complete the Paris theme with similar micro block products. (I will raise the ratings to 5 stars if the company will send me the missing piece...otherwise like I said it is annoying to look at)

This was fun and easy to put together. Instructions made you go layer by layer from top to bottom. They are easy to understand. Block are small so be prepared. Also they do not separate the pieces. So you will have to do that.

Neat but not meant for kids...pieces are extremely small and instructions arent the greatest with the colors they used to differentiate. Worth the money for an older kid or an adult. Design is awesome

The pieces are tiny, the instructions need a magnifying glass to see the details, there are an lot of pieces. Why 5 stars, because it is a challenge. The finished model is great. If you do not have patience, forget this kit. If you want to finish in a few hours, forget this kit. If you want a real challenge, this is the kit for you.

I was really looking forward to doing this set. However, the dark colour pieces on the images, were at times difficult to tell positioning of pieces. I would also suggest maybe doing instructions in a different order to make small pieces easier to put on. Base comes apart easily due to multiple pieces. A suggestion would be to place a small amount of blue tack onto pieces on the second layer to hold it together.
