Blu-ray. Il Divo returned to the live arena for the first time in 2 years on August 2, 2011 to perform at the iconic home of the English National Opera, the London Coliseum. Accompanied by the world famous Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, this show marked a triumphant return for Il Divo, performing new material from their album Wicked Game as well many of their favorite, well known classics. The concert features the albums' title track "Wicked Game", "Crying", "Come What May", "Time to Say Goodbye" and "Dov'F L'amore", which Il Divo premiered at the Classic Brit Awards 2011, where they collected a prestigious award for Artist of the Decade. This 90 minute concert captures Il Divo at their best, while behind the scenes documentary footage of Il Divo, allows US closer to the band during recording sessions for Wicked Game, on their promotional travels, at rehearsals for the concert and on the night of the show.

and it was such a terrific experience that I was inspired to purchase this DVD ...
We recently attended this group's one night concert at Radio City, N.Y., and it was such a terrific experience that I was inspired to purchase thisDVD of their past performance in London. It did not disappoint, as it felt as if we were at another concert, except this time with an up close view in the comfort of our home. Of course, nothing beats being at a live show, but the video and sound quality on this disc is quite good; many of the songs are from their album Wicked Game, one of my favorites. So when I feel the need for a bit of visual entertainment as well as music to soothe the soul, I pop in this DVD and all is well!

Have collected everything I can that Il Divo has released. Have been waiting for this to be release since I saw and heard sample. This is one of the best they have done to date. I have copy for me and ordered 4 more as gifts for my friends and relatives. You can not miss this one! Amazon UK was great getting it for me since not released in USA yet.

MUSIC OF THE 21th CENTURY
I bought this dvd/concert as it was available. The new songs are esplendid and goes direct to the heart. The sound is very good, the cameras do not take as much of the public and the feelings you can see in their faces. The public, english, are no as refined as the ones in tne concert "An evening with IL DIVO", from Barcelona. In the late one, the scenery, the public is very identified with IL DIVO, they gave and throw flowers to them, they sang with them. In England, the feeling is different, i don't know why. By this time, in my opinion, the Barcelona concert is the best, for far more. It is not the fault of IL DIVO, but of someone in the staff, and don't forget that the Coliseum is an extraordinary place to film a concert.

Welcome Back, Il Divo!!
The performance at the London Colliseum was the first time in 18 months that Il Divo performed in front of an audience. The crowd's enthusiasm and response is palpable through the DVD. They were thrilled to be hearing familiar favorites and the new songs from these men they had missed so much. All the new material, from their album "Wicked Game", is dynamic, charasmatic and inspiring. The interaction between the singers is pure joy to watch - they are obviously so happy to be back on stage and performing for their fans. They have fun with the performances and keep it light-hearted in conversations to the audience, between songs. This DVD portrays Il Divo at their very best - beautiful songs, amazing voices and a never-ending charm with their delivery. If this is an example of the show they will present on their next world-wide tour, it will be a resounding success. I loved every gorgeous moment of this DVD.

My favourite classical/pop genre all male group!
Overall, good. The accoustics in the first part of the concert were on the poor side and the guys weren't at their shining best. However, they did warm up with the London Philharmonic Orchestra adjusting to their needs. Once this happened, I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the concert....of course, kicking myself for not being able to make use of my tickets to see the monumentally popular Il Divo live in Brisbane, in Jan 2012.For this concert, they seem to have changed their usual style of who sings with whom, partnering Carlos with David quite often and hearing less of the old David and Urs combination. It's good to try different things with the singers but I have to say I prefer the beautiful tenor voices of Urs and David together, with Carlos coming in with his strong bass sound, usually towards the end of a song or verse. And Sebastien, as usual fits in well, anywhere and with anyone - but very often being the 'starter'. However, having said what I did about my preference of voice combinations, the slightly different one in this concert was, nonetheless, very refreshing and enjoyable.I gave this concert 3 stars purely because of the difficulty, in the opening part, of being able to hear the group clearly above the orchestra. If not for that, then easily a 4 star rating.

Il Divo Delivers Again!
I was so happy to see that Il Divo's "Live in London" concert was on DVD! I was lucky enough to see them in Denver in 2012, and even though this DVD features their London concert, it features all the songs they performed on their tour so it is like re-living their concert in Denver! The concert footage and behind-the-scenes escapades are fantastic. If you like Il Divo, you will definitely like this DVD! I hope they do a DVD of their current "A Musical Affair" tour, too!

one not to miss
I have recently discovered Il Divo and this DVD has led to me being an absolute devoted fan, It is sheer class from start to finish and every song is a performance of the highest level!!! Nothing could prepare you for the sheer beauty of these four guys voices. I think Carlos is a match for Carreras, he sings brilliantly in every language and Urs has a voice to die for, I was crying when he sang as he has the most melodic voice ever!! David reaches heights that no singer should reach and has the most powerful voice I have ever heard. Sebastien is the perfect merger in the group as his voice melts your heart and he holds the songs together superbly. I cannot wait to purchase more of their work.I am an avid fan of Roy Orbison but the groups version of Crying was a tear jerking rendition and one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have been privileged to hear. Thank You guys for an amazing musical experience.

Another knockout performance from the boys
Been a fan of Il divo since their Live in Barcelona show, the harmonies and arrangements of well known songs is superb. Not certain what some reviewers issues are with the BluRay quality as it appears fine to me, good colours, sharp images and mind blowing audio.Stand out track for me in this show is Time to Say Goodbye. Unlike the Wicked Game album version, the version in the live show starts in Italian but the final half of the song is in English and really helps to showcase how good the groups voices are outside of formal lyrics.DTS audio track is powerful but on some tracks the background music is keyed down due to the acoustics of the venue. Never the less, first rate!

IIDivo "Live in London DVD"
I agree with most of customers previous comments about II Divo. As a fan I was pleased to see them back for their Concert in London. New songs and old they were to their normal wonderful Standard. But I don't think the DVD recording was a patch on the Evening in Barcelona concert one. Whether I am unlucky and the quality is not good on the copy I have purchased, but I found the DVD very dark, there was on some songs recording a background hissing noise, the second part of the recorded concert was better. But personally I never like a full orchestra being directly behind the performers on stage. it distracts from the artists also, as IIDivo wear their modern, classic dress of dark clothing, in my personal opinion - I think they did not stand out as well as previous recorded DVDs. The Stage on the Barcelona concert was a good one and an excellent platform for their act and "charisma" personalities, being able to walk around the stage, closer to the audience was a forum for their undoubtable talent! I felt the London Concert stage restricted this. Their natural way of playing to their audience is charming with mentioned glimpses of their obvious love for their families. The rapport they have with each other and the audience (despite my comments about the quality of the DVD recording) shows though and makes their perfomance another special one.As I said disappointed with the quality of the DVD and would have liked to see them on a less restricted stage, with full orchestra more in the back ground.

WOW!!!! Amazing concert!!!
This stunning concert is amazing!! The setting of The London Coliseum is beautiful and is a fitting venue for Il Divo. The rapport with their audience was fantastic and it was apparent how much they enjoyed performing and how much the fans loved it! The choice of songs was excellent. Melanconia and their own version of Crying with the voice of Rebecca Del Rio were absolutely breath-taking! The "extras" on this dvd are brilliant and give a preview of their new album Wicked Game. All I can say is if you can't see a live theatre concert buy this dvd and you will be taken by the four supreme voices to the front row!!

Good value
An excellent concert DVD for this group. I already have another of their concerts on DVD and found the variety of songs on this one well worth listening to.
